Research On The Design Of Miao Embroidery Cultural Creative Products In Southeast Guizhou Under The Concept Of The Law Of Mutual Permeability

At present,our country is vigorously expanding the cultural soft power.The Miao and Dong Autonomous Prefecture in southeastern Guizhou is a region with profound cultural traditions and characteristics,whose Miao embroidery handicrafts,with unique and great value of inheritance,have been listed into the first batch of national intangible heritages.However,it no longer adapts to the fast-paced and digital life,and is facing the danger of retreating into daily life because of the great difference between its own cultural system and modern culture.Similarly,due to the simplicity of and lack of systematicness in the design process,the cultural creative industry in China,on the whole,are confronted with the prominent problems of lack of culture,aesthetics and ethics.Especially for minority areas such as the Miao and Dong Autonomous Prefecture in southeastern Guizhou,due to lack of specific design methods,they are facing various pressures in passing down the cultural heritage.For instance,from the perspective of cultural mining,the unique connotation of ethnic culture requires huge learning costs for designers and developers.From the perspective of cultural elements extraction,simple extraction of visual elements symbols is not conducive to cultural heritage,but contributes to cultural disintegration.From the perspective of cultural symbols translation,the regional aesthetics of ethnic minorities does not coincide with modern aesthetics,which needs to be redesigned to improve the public acceptance.Through field investigation,literature research and case analysis,this paper holds that up to now,Miao culture still retains a relatively traditional state,and reflects its relatively primitive characteristics from the creative thinking of Miao embroidery,which is intrinsically related to the primitive thinking and the Law of Mutual Permeability in anthropological research.With the help of the project “Brand Building,Targeted Poverty Alleviation” jointly initiated by Yeation and local government in southeastern Guizhou,this paper explores the mutual penetration pattern,type and characteristics of the Law of Mutual Permeability,and compares it with the creation process of Miao embroidery,focusing on the creative ideas of Miao embroidery,and studying the characteristics and creative methods of Miao embroidery.This paper puts forward the viewpoint of “using the creative thinking of Miao embroidery to design Miao embroidery crafts”,introduces the Law of Mutual Permeability in anthropology into the design discipline.Also,it develops the design concept of mutual penetration,that is,to establish the gene bank of Miao embroidery and complete design practice based on the principle of collective consciousness,sense of purpose and symbolism,as well as on the design method of mutual penetration of elements,meaning and nonsubject.It is hoped that the concept of the Law of Mutual Permeability can be beneficial for ethnic minorities to design cultural creative crafts.
