A Preliminary Study Of The Aesthetics And The Design Approach Of "Hidden Water In The Mountains"

Chinese traditional landscape painting,painting theory and garden art are the components of landscape culture.The three part work together to reflect the high refinement and generalization of the material and spiritual connotations of natural landscapes by Chinese literati.Among them,"Hidden water in the mountains" as one of the methods of creating water-mountain relations in garden art,including the aesthetic concept,aesthetic conception and spatial layout associated with traditional gardens.This article explores the aesthetic conception and water management method of "Hidden water in the mountains" from the three aspects of "text,painting and garden" : firstly,from the ancient painting theory,the text narrative related to "Hidden water in the mountains" is compiled,combined with contemporary The concept of "environment" in the field of aesthetic research traces its ideological roots and summarizes the basic meaning of the "Hidden water in the mountains" approach discussed in this article;then analyzes the representative traditional landscape paintings and explores the "hidden water in the mountains" in traditional landscapes The aesthetic value,landscape concept and spatial situation reflected in the paintings,and finally,combined with the author's experience in the field trip of natural landscapes and gardens,summed up the design method of “hiding water in the mountains” on the level of garden construction.Under the premise of painting theory,painting and gardening,this paper emphasizes the pre-existing value of "Aesthetics" in garden art,and discusses the role of "Hidden water in the mountains" in dealing with landscapes,understanding and management,and conveying feelings.The goal of exploring the artistic conception and design methods of "Hidden water in the mountains" gardens as a starting point is strive to inherit the traditional garden aesthetics and the concept of the artificial garden,and consider its reference to the design of open space in modern cities.
