Modern Reconstruction Of Traditional Wood Architecture

As the main type of Chinese traditional architecture,timber is the main building material in timber architecture.It has a long history and has developed into a complete system of timber construction.As an important part of Chinese traditional culture,wooden architecture bears the wisdom and hard work of the working people of the Chinese nation and is an important carrier of Chinese culture.Therefore,we should explore its protective nature and embody its ecological concept in modern architectural design.The essence of modern reconstruction of wooden architecture is to return to the original and innovate.With the promotion of cultural exchanges and cooperation with foreign countries in China,the western architectural culture has rapidly poured into China,and many reinforced concrete buildings have sprung up.However,how can these foreign-style modern buildings retain a little Chinese national characteristics? The so-called "national is the world" ? This issue needs our great attention.With the improvement of people’s quality of life,the requirement for the ecological health quality of building structure is higher and higher.So,what kind of building structure can satisfy people’s increasing demand for quality of life? People have focused on wooden architecture as a national treasure.Therefore,how to modernize and rebuild wooden architecture in modern architectural design is very necessary.This paper summarizes the characteristics,influencing factors and value of traditional wooden architecture through combing the development process of traditional wooden architecture,and analyses the ways of inheritance of traditional wooden architecture from three aspects,and probes into the possible mode of modern reconstruction of traditional wooden architecture by analyzing the collision between traditional wooden architecture and modern architecture.
