The Zang is one of the ancient nationality.In the accumulation of thousands of years,its architecture has shaped special charm and gradually became a carrier of material culture and spirit culture,interpreting people s product as well as life style,which can be seen as main objective for analyzing Tibetan culture.Thesis mainly tells historical background,design performance,style feature as well as the influence issue of Tibetan traditional architecture design at the transformation age,so shedding light on the speciality caused by impact outside and inside.Based on the cognition above,this research clarifies the development process and the Tibetan traditional architecture design to search for the reason and background of this style.It is not hard to find that several issues can be summarized,such as the unification of Tibetan zone,the influence of Tibetan Buddhism,and the mutual communication of culture and design etc,while this thesis still combine the design type of transformation era that includes temple architecture,palace building Pagoda architecture with the design performance of transformation age that includes location layout,structuring technique,inner decoration,thus analyzing art form of expression for the anatomy of architecture characterization.Besides,this thesis elaborates the evolutionary of artstyle of Tibetan architecture of transitional period from the aspect of locality,the territory of the Han nationality,as well as out of the territory,which to the extent render us have a deeper understanding of cultural form of Tibetan traditional architecture design.As an indispensable part of Tibetan art,Tibetan traditional architectural art is of great historical significance.In the historical stages of the development and evolution of Tibetan traditional architecture,the transitional period is carrying different functions and influences.From its artistic connotation and expression way to analyze,embodies the art and politics,economy,science and technology,thought,cultural relations of close contact,and even decisive.At the same time,it is necessary to recognize the dialectical relationship between art and them,so as to correctly analyze the traditional Tibetan architectural design in the transitional period.
