With the implementation of the rural vitalization strategy,construction of "Beautiful Villages" is developing quickly in Jiangsu Province in a way different from urban construction.Architectural design scheme is an important link in construction of "Beautiful Villages" so that it is important to ensure the perspectiveness,scientificity,rationality and operability of the schemes and the ecological capacity during design.Currently,the architectural design scheme in village construction is dominantly decided by decision makers of the basic-level government,supplemented by subjective experience of experts.Such scheme evaluation method is poorly reliable and lacks decision support from a set of scientific evaluation theory system.Under this research background,an operable scheme evaluation method is presented particularly for the architectural design scheme of "Beautiful Villages" construction in Yancheng based on the features of rural residential buildings in Jiangsu Province,with an attempt to provide methodology for optimization of similar project schemes.Firstly,related concepts of "Beautiful Villages" and architectural design were introduced.The key design points of the architectural design scheme of "Beautiful Villages" construction were discussed from the aspects of housing design,environmental performance design,building structure and equipment design,and the elements that influence the architectural design scheme of buildings were subjected to systematical and comprehensive theoretical illustration.Secondly,an evaluation indicator system applicable to the "Beautiful Villages" project was established after screening the preselected indicators using Delphi method.Besides,the selected indicators were quantified from the aspects of applicability performance,equipment performance,environmental performance and economic performance based on research of related state criteria and architectural design theories.Thirdly,the weight of each layer of indicators was determined by introducing the analytic hierarchy process(AHP),and the correlation between the indicators of the to-be-evaluated scheme and the evaluation grade was obtained using the extension function.Then the comprehensive correlation of the to-be-evaluated matter element was synthesized by multiplying the weight and the correlation.In this way,the comprehensive evaluation grade of the to-be-evaluated matter element was obtained,and the APH-matter element extension evaluation model of the architectural design scheme of "Beautiful Villages" construction was established.Finally,the comprehensive evaluation grade established was subjected to case study.To be specific,an individual building of the "Beautiful Villages" project in Hengdong Village,Jianhu County,Yancheng,Jiangsu Province was evaluated using the APH-matter element extension evaluation model,which verified the practical feasibility of the established model.
