Research On BIM-based Green Building Evaluation

Green buildings can provide people with healthy,applicable and efficient use of space to live in harmony with nature,while green building evaluation is to assess the greenness and environmental friendliness of buildings through a series of standardized measures and evaluation procedures to achieve green building goals.The promotion of green building evaluation not only conforms to the basic national policy of “saving resources” and “protecting the environment”,but also meets the needs of human material life while taking into account the needs of the spiritual level.However,because of the large amount of drawing information and data in the process required in green building evaluation,as well as the long evaluation cycle and the massive content,there are three major problems in the developing process of green building evaluation in China: the information interruption,the deficient cooperation between project participants,and the disconnection between design evaluation and operation evaluation.Therefore,the focus of this paper is to discuss how to improve the green building evaluation process in order to solve the above problems.The main research contents of this paper are as follows:(1)Building the research framework through the study on green building evaluation and BIM(Building Information Modeling),analyzing the application of BIM in whole building life cycle;(2)comparing and analyzing the US LEED system and the green building evaluation system in China,and indicating the problems of the current green building evaluation in China,including the fragmental information division,the deficient cooperative management ability of project participants,and the imbalance between design identification and operation identification;(3)offering solutions to the problems of green building evaluation in China through the application of BIM,expounding the green building evaluation process using BIM,and studying the greenbuilding evaluation information interaction using BIM and the application of BIM in green building design evaluation and operation evaluation;(4)taking an actual project that has acquired the three-star green building design mark certification and is preparing to apply for the three-star green building operation mark certification as an example,to elaborate the application of BIM in green building evaluation,and to prove the feasibility of BIM-based green building evaluation and test the effect of applying BIM to green building evaluation.This paper discusses the application of BIM in green building evaluation,and demonstrates that BIM-based green building evaluation can effectively improve the evaluation efficiency and contributes to achieve informatization,integration and high efficiency in green building evaluation.
