Sincethe adoption of reform and opening-up policy,With the rapid development of China's economic society,which has promoted the rapid development of the power industry.In recent years,with the advancement of electric power system reform,the management mode of electric power market has becoming more and more diversified.Reasonable application of project management methods can effectively improve the management level,construction efficiency and safety of power engineering projects.Foreign related research and concepts have been put forward earlier and have a strong reference significance.But in practical application,we need to objectively analyze the current situation and existing problems of project management in our country,draw on and absorb their management ideas and management models,carry out innovative application and exploration,and find out more in line with the specific situation of our country.Based on the power project management,this paper comprehensively understands and analyses the common international project management models and concepts,and expounds the characteristics,advantages and disadvantages and application scope of different project management models.On this basis,combined with the current situation and needs of power engineering project management in China,in order to solve the common problems in current power engineering projects,a model-based design project management model,PM model,is proposed for power engineering construction projects in China.This paper mainly refers to the actual project of a transmission line in Tangshan City,and takes it as the object of analysis,analyses the project group management mode,puts forward the improvement suggestions and establishes a new project application management model,highlights the main points of the project group management application,and analyses the measures to be taken by the whole project under the application of the improved model.Expected results,innovatively introduced the concept of project group management,which can provide useful reference for the future innovation and development of power engineering..
