With the development of the economy and the accelerated process of urbanization,all kinds of urban residence and commercial projects are constantly emerging,and the elevator industry has entered a period of high-speed development.Meanwhile,the contradiction between the increase of the elevator ownership and the shortage of the maintenance personnel and the increasing number of elevator accidents in recent years have aroused wide attention of the government and the people.On the other hand,the monitoring systems of various elevator companies are incompatible with each other.Both the new lifts and the old lifts,there are problems of high monitoring cost and complicated technology.The universal elevator monitoring system based on the Internet of Things has become an important part of ensuring the safety of elevators.According to the requirements of the elevator monitoring system,this paper first determines the overall structure of the system,designs a general communication protocol between the data acquisition terminal and the management platform,and unifies the elevator operating state data format,which is convenient for different elevator suppliers and monitoring center;secondly,design the hardware and software of the data acquisition terminal,including the selection of the microcontroller and design of the peripheral circuit,data interface,network interface module,and the transplantation of the embedded operating system ?C/OS-? and desigh the data transmission moudle;finally determine the development environment of the monitoring platform,preliminary design of the database structure and various functional modules.The system has been improved and debugged several times,and some projects in some areas have been selected for trial operation.The results show that the system effectively fulfills various functional requirements,real-time monitoring of elevator running status,active alarm of faulty elevators,storage and transmission of elevator historical data,etc.,and achieves the expected functions.
