With the continuous improvement of China's urbanization and people's living standards, the energy and resource consumption intensity of residents has gradually increased, and the people's requirements for the quality of building and living environment have also been continuously improved, resulting in a significant increase in energy consumption of urban residential buildings. The energy consumption of residential buildings is affected by various factors such as environment, economy, society, policies and people's behavioral habits. It is characterized by time-varying,complexity,randomness and regionality. Therefore,it is necessary to scientifically and rationally divide the provinces of China into regions, and to study the key influencing factors of energy consumption of urban residential buildings in different regions in order to propose more targeted energy conservation and consumption reduction proposals and reduce the cost of policy formulation. This paper firstly calculates the energy consumption of urban residential buildings in 30 provinces and cities(excluding Tibet,Hong Kong,Macao and Taiwan),analyzes the spatial and temporal status based on the data, and finds the spatial characteristics of urban residential buildings that cannot be ignored, and applies the Moran index. It proves the spatial correlation of energy consumption in urban residential buildings.Secondly, based on the provincial energy consumption characteristics of urban residential buildings, the country is divided into high energy consumption total area, medium energy consumption total area and low energy consumption total area.A total of nine independent variables were selected from the three aspects of technology, economy and society, and spatial factors were introduced to conduct an empirical analysis of the spatial measurement factors affecting the energy consumption of urban residential buildings in the country and the three major regions.According to the empirical results of the model, the commonality and difference analysis of the inter-regional influencing factors found that reducing the proportion of coal in the energy structure is a common means of energy conservation and consumption reduction at the national and regional levels, and the promotion of urbanization and economic development will further promote the towns and cities in China. In addition, the total energy consumption of residential buildings will increase;in addition, the total energy consumption and consumption reduction in urban residential buildings should focus on building total control and clean heating. The total energy consumption area focuses on residents' energy conservation awareness. The promotion, the low energy consumption total area focuses on the promotion and application of energy-saving technologies. Finally, based on the empirical results, starting from the government, the market, and the residents, combined with the key work of new construction,energy-saving renovation of existing residential buildings, and clean energy applications, the national macro-and regional-specific urban residential buildings energy conservation and consumption reduction measures are given. In summary, this paper uses the combination of theory and evidence to quantitatively analyze the differences in the factors affecting the energy consumption of urban residential buildings in different regions, and provides a more targeted policy for energy conservation and consumption reduction of urban residential buildings in China.Certain reference.
