With the rapid development of the renewable energy power generation technology,which is represented by the photovoltaic and wind power,a large number of distributed power supplies(DG)are connected to the traditional distribution network,and the safe operation and the relay protection of the distribution network are greatly affected,and the stability monitoring of the distribution network becomes particularly important.The synchronous phasor measurement unit(PMU)based on global positioning system(GPS)can acquire the operation state of the power system in real time and has the capability to monitor the power grid stably.The industry research proposes to build a wide area measurement system(WAMS)based on the micro-multi-function synchronous phasor measurement unit(?MPMU),which can realize real-time monitoring and protection of distribution network.In this paper,some research and analysis on data communication protocol and the access mode of communication network of distribution network WAMS have been carried out.Through the introduction of the development of synchronous phasor measurement technology at home and abroad and its current status in distribution network applications,based on the comparative study of the international synchronous phasor data transmission standard represented by the IEE C37.118 series standard and the IEC 60870-90-5 standard and the domestic GB/T26865.2-2011 real-time dynamic data transmission protocol,Combined with the application service data Unit in the distribution network telecontrol protocol IEC 60870-5-101,the remote control protocol of the distribution network,A power distribution network WMAS communication protocol extension scheme with synchronous phasor data and distribution network "three-roll" data is presented,the scheme extends the remote control function of ? MPMU effectively.The reliable communication between ? MPMU and master station is realized by using multi-Socket technology,which has some practical value to popularize ?MPMU in distribution network.According to the characteristics of distribution network WAMS communication service requirements,combined with the type of traffic data flow,the typical traffic requirements of distribution network WAMS are calculated by using the traffic calculation method of service cross-section.The delay components of each part of phasor data transmission are analyzed and the delay range of each part is calculated.According to the different applications of distribution network WAMS,the delay requirements of different service data transmission are given.In order to study the access technology of distribution network WAMS communication network,the characteristics of optical fiber communication,power line carrier communication,wireless public network,wireless private network and 5G communication technology are analyzed and tested.In combination with that selection requirement of the WAMS communication access network of the power distribution network,a specific network scheme of the WAMS communication access layer of the power distribution network is given,and the feasibility of the scheme is verified through the actual deployment of distribution communication access network in Shanghai Lingang demonstration area.
