Every aspect of modern society is in a period of rapid development.With the improvement of living standards,people's pursuit of material life tends to be saturated.More and more people are beginning to pursue spiritual appeals,and the landscape has become one of the places for spiritual sustenance.Firstly,the urbanized living environment keeps people away from nature.People need to have public places to contact nature in their life and enjoy a green lung in the cities of high buildings.Secondly,because of the rapid pace of modern life,people's life is more and more busy,for a short vacation to find a quiet place to relax also become a demand,which is not only a physical demand but a spiritual demand.In the landscape of people's spiritual and emotional support,the most important thing is the commemorative landscape.The memorial landscape is of historical significance.It is a special landscape form produced by the early people to the worship of nature and God.Now,as a place for the spiritual and emotional attachment of contemporary people,the principle of landscape design should start from the psychological needs of people,meet the aesthetic needs of the senses and arouse the resonance of the ornamental,which includes the multidisciplinary integration of aesthetics,philosophy and artistic conception,which promotes the remembrance of these theories.The empathy design of landscape will lead to the concept of commemorative landscape design.The paper expounds the emergence,development and characteristics of the commemorative landscape and empathy theory,summarizes the function and methods of empathy theory in the design of memorial landscape,and analyzes the empathy in the three levels of perception,association and mood,and further summarizes the characteristics of the memorial landscape empathy from the form,space and significance.This paper mainly adopts the method of case analysis and research,and constructs the concept of empathy design of memorial landscape through the case analysis and research of 100 memorial landscapes,so as to show the empathy expression methods of memorial landscapes.An overview is put forward,and the empathetic design strategy of memorial landscape is put forward,and that will provide reference for future commemorative landscape creation.Through the analysis of lots of commemorative landscapes all over the world,the paper concludes that it is a design feature that makes the viewer resonate,and then advocates the important position of the recipient's emotional demand in the commemorative landscape.According to the view of the viewer as the recipient of the landscape,this paper puts forward corresponding specific strategies for its physiological perception stage,psychological demand stage and spiritual emotion sublimation,and puts forward corresponding strategies from the form,space and design concept of landscape,trying to find the empathy design in the commemorative landscape.Using the concept of value and how to use this concept to make the memorial landscape become a favorite space place from the depressed space state,and explain the empathy design to create a more humanized,poetic and pluralistic experience space for the contemporary commemorative landscape atmosphere.
