Education has always been one of the important issues concerned about people's livelihood,and is placed in an important strategic position in China.The importance of basic education is self-evident.In recent decades,China has witnessed vigorous development of education.Our country energetically implement well-rounded education,developed a variety of educational concepts.The development of educational ideas puts forward higher requirements for both students and teachers.Under the extensive development,the campus construction is more suitable for teachers to impart knowledge in one direction.In the information age,the shortage problem of campus space to highlight gradually.Under the traditional education concept,most campus buildings are satisfied with sufficient classroom size and quantity,and pay little attention to informal learning space.Open education emphasizes students' independent learning and individual development.,reflecting in space open change,use time flexibility.Formal learning space and informal learning space should be considered together.Therefore,it is of great significance to study the teaching space under the open education.By sorting out the connotation and development process of the open education concept,this paper compares the campus buildings under the traditional education concept,looks for the development trend of campus buildings,and summarizes the campus space demand under the open education.By sorting out and summarizing the design methods of formal teaching space and informal learning space through the study of excellent cases at home and abroad,the author carried out the practice in the design of Wuhan Zhuodaoquan middle school branch to increase the cognition and understanding of the design method under the open education in China.
