With the development of economy in China,the national "The Belt and Road" strategy implementation and strengthening the construction of power engineering enterprises,domestic enterprises to gradually open the overseas project contracting market,more and more involved in the fierce competition in globalization.Although domestic enterprises have rich experience in design and construction,there are still many problems in the research of project risk management.This paper first introduces the risk management theory of overseas power EPC general contracting project,reviews the overseas power EPC management mode,analyzes the main characteristics and main risk factors of overseas power EPC project,and constructs the risk management framework of overseas power EPC project.Secondly,in order to Ethiopia GDYW2 transmission line EPC project based on risk analysis and assessment.According to the characteristics of Ethiopia GDYW2 transmission line EPC project,analysis of the main risks that the project implementation process including economic risk,decision-making risk,management risk,technology risk,and establishes the risk evaluation index system of GDYW2 transmission line Ethiopia EPC project,the overall level of risk by AHP and fuzzy evaluation method to judge the degree of importance and single risk the project,that the overall level of risk of GDYW2 transmission line Ethiopia EPC project in the medium to high level.Combined with the lack of GDYW2 transmission line Ethiopia EPC project risk prevention and control experience,put forward a strategy of risk prevention and control of overseas EPC general contract project.
