Under the development needs of energy transformation,solar energy,as a clean energy with excellent conditions,has bright prospects for development and application in residential area with high energy consumption.Nowadays,residents are more aware of the utilization of clean energy;meanwhile,the relationship between solar energy and residents is more and more closely.With the intensification of land use,there have existed more and more high-rise settlements in the city.The high-rise settlements provide building space for the development and utilization of solar energy while saving land use.However,accompanied with the great density of residential construction,the solar radiation received by buildings that are obstructed by each other will be compromised.Therefore,there may exsist some restrictive relationship between the residential planning layout index and the solar radiation quantity.At present,research on solar engineering technology at home and abroad has gradually expanded from building units to urban areas.The quantitative relationship between urban settlements and solar radiation acquisition is still in its infancy.Through the investigation on the newly built settlements in the urban area of Harbin from 2008 to 2018,the SPSS statistical analysis software is used to summarize the three typical high-rise residential layout patterns,which are parallel determinant,non-parallel determinant and three-sided enclosure.Combined with the regulations on sunshine building space in Harbin Urban and Rural Planning Regulations,8F to 35 F residential models of three typical layout patterns are established.Firstly,using Autodesk Ecotect software to simulate the solar radiation quantity of each building roof and south fa?ade of the 84 residential models in the three types of settlements.Calculate and analyze the relevant results.And obtain the relationship between residential planning index which are the floor area ratio,the building density and building height and solar radiation quantity.Secondly,the CurveExpert software is used to perform linear regression analysis on the planning index of each residential area and the solar radiation quantity.Then,quantitative results are obtained based on qualitative conclusions.Through the above research,the relevant practitioners are guided to take into account the solar radiation acquisition factors in the planning and design process of high-rise settlements.The study aims to explore the qualitative and quantitative relationship between residential planning layout indicators and solar radiation quantity.By summarizing the corresponding laws,the best utilization patterns of solar energy in different types of highrise residential areas are obtained providing reference for further settlement planning.Combining the solar radiation quantity as a scientific quantitative indicator with the Harbin residential area planning and summarizing the residential area layout planning method with solar radiation as the influencing factor can help planners and real estate developers to obtain settlements of different layout pattern with more rational and scientific design development strategy.Through the research conclusions,the potential of solar energy utilization in urban high-rise residential areas is revealed,which provides theoretical and practical basis for the construction of ecological settlements in China.
