China cannot be seen as a super shipbuilding nation in terms of the undeveloped technology and management in this industry,even though it is one of the main manufacturers in the world.In many Chinese shipyards,the production schedule is unreasonable and there exists the ‘bottleneck' in the process of manufacture shipyard,which cause that the output in each workshop is imbalanced,and consequently,there exists much resource failed to be used efficiently in the shipbuilding process.Thus doing shipbuilding simulation research,and solving the production schedule and bottleneck problem are significant for the production optimization.The production problem can be found during simulation process,so that it can be solved before actual production,and therefore,the production waste can be reduced.This thesis illustrates the contemporary shipbuilding system and analyses the problems existing in the shipbuilding process.In addition,the discrete-system simulation method is proposed to check the rationality of the production schedule and analyze the bottleneck of the production line by simulating shipyard production.Besides,the content and process of the discrete-system simulation method and the feasibility of the application in the shipyard production logistics system are also analyzed.In order to make the simulation accurate,a key index system in modeling is established in this thesis.Two-dimensional and three-dimensional models of the steel slicing center,plane block production center,curved block production center,painting center and grand assembling center are established.The manufacturing process of the centers are simulated by the software entitled as ‘Plant Simulation'.The simulation results are analyzed from two aspects,namely,rationality test on production schedule and searching of the production bottleneck.On the other hand,the author comes up with adjustment proposals for the production planning problem according to the analysis result.By adjusting the capacity of the bottleneck,the production plan can be finished in time,and meanwhile,the production becomes more balanced.
