Safety brakes are widely used in medium and large machinery.They can provide brake protection in emergency situations and stabilize the equipment in a fixed state.It is the last line of defense to ensure the safety of personnel and equipment.The quality of its products is of vital importance..In this paper,the safety brake is deeply studied,and a safety instrument performance detection system based on virtual instrument is developed.The main research contents are as follows:Firstly,this paper studies the development status of brake performance detection technology,and analyzes the characteristics of safety brake,braking principle and common faults in detail,and proposes dynamic braking torque,braking time,static braking force,sealing and fatigue resistance.It is an important factor affecting the performance of safety brakes.Then this paper introduces the detection method of dynamic braking torque,static braking force,braking time,sealing and fatigue resistance,and the structure,composition and function of the dynamic brake dynamic test bench and static test bench.Then,based on the safety brake dynamic test bench and static test bench,the virtual brake-based safety brake performance detection system is developed,and the software and hardware design of the system is completed.The hardware of the system adopts a threelayer control structure,in which the industrial control computer is used as the first layer to realize functions such as human-computer interaction,data processing,data display,etc.PLC acts as an intermediate layer to realize functions such as device control,signal acquisition,and analog-to-digital conversion.The sensor acts as the third layer and collects physical quantities.The system software is based on modular programming ideas and is designed and written using LabVIEW software.The software program has nine modules,such as frequency conversion,communication,monitoring,test operation,data acquisition,data processing,data display,data management and error processing.Each module combination completes the detection function.Finally,the dynamic braking torque test,static braking force test and fatigue test of safety brake are carried out.The test results of each test are analyzed,and the accuracy,stability and reliability of the safety brake performance detection system based on virtual instrument are verified.At the same time,the test results show that compared with the traditional test system,the virtual instrument-based safety brake performance detection system has the advantages of strong display function,high degree of automation,strong data processing capability and strong expansion capability.
