| The transformation and progress of transportation mode is not only an important force to promote economic development and remodeling of spatial structure,but also an important factor to guide the transformation of people’s production and life.With the development of science and technology,high-speed railway has become a milestone of the world’s "traffic revolution".Its construction and operation have profoundly changed the space-time distance between regions and shaped a new economic pattern.High-speed railway reduces transportation costs and accelerates the transfer of production resources by improving inter-regional accessibility.Enterprises re-select location in order to increase profits.The agglomeration and diffusion of enterprises affect the agglomeration and diffusion of industries,and ultimately change the industrial structure of cities.At present,with the construction and operation of high-speed railway between major cities in China,the relationship between cities is getting closer and closer,and the trend of regional economic integration is also increasing.As of the end of 2017,the operation mileage of high-speed railway in Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area has exceeded 1000 kilometers,ranking first among the four major high-speed railway operation mileage areas in the world.In order to become a world-class Bay area with international influence,Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area must rationally distribute regional economic elements,maximize their utility and form a pattern of spatial and economic integration.For urban agglomeration,studying the impact of high-speed rail on the industrial structure of urban agglomeration has great support value.Relying on the advantages of high-speed rail to improve the rationalization and upgrading of industrial structure,promote the transformation of industrial structure,and boost local economy.On the basis of combing the relevant research status,this paper constructs a research framework,and constructs a difference in difference model by using panel data of 2005-2017 high-speed rail opening,industrial structure rationalization index and proportion of output value of various industries in Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.The empirical test of the impact of high-speed rail on industrial structure from the perspective of rationalization of overall industrial structure,service industry and its main sub-sectors and sub-city nature.The empirical analysis of the difference in difference model shows that the opening of the high-speed rail has a significant effect on the rationalization and upgrading of the overall industrial structure;The operation of high-speed rail has a significant positive effect on the development of manufacturing industry;The opening of the high-speed rail has played a significant role in promoting the service industry;The opening of the high-speed rail also promoted the development of accommodation,catering,finance and real estate in the service industry.At the same time,the internal cities of Bay Area were divided into manufacturing-type cities and service-oriented cities according to the proportion of manufacturing and service industries.It promotes the development of the general service industry in manufacturing cities,and the high-speed rail has a significant positive effect on the general service industry and high-end service industry in service-oriented cities.Finally,combined with the empirical results,the relevant policy recommendations for the development of urban agglomeration industrial structure under the conditions of high-speed railway opening are proposed.All cities must seize the opportunity to support high-speed railways,strengthen inter-regional resource flows and industrial transfer,realize rational allocation of resources,and promote the development of the Greater Bay Area. |
