Research On The Evaluation Of Livability Of Traditional Villages

The traditional villages in our country have a long history and culture,preserve the traditional spatial form and beautiful architectural style,and show the simple folk customs,traditional villages have great theoretical and practical significance for protecting local cultural diversity,inheriting historical culture,promoting new rural construction,and promoting its long-term development.However,with the continuous development of modern society,construction and renewal are changing with each passing day,under the advancement and impact of the rapid urbanization wave,residents are yearning for and pursuing the urban lifestyle,and the values have gradually changed,traditional villages have also lost their original appearance,and various unconventional constructions due to lack of planning have led to the erosion of traditional villages.As a special form of settlement,traditional village is one of the important aspects can not be ignored in the urbanization process in China.Therefore,the article conducts an in-depth study on the livability of traditional villages,exploring the particularity of the livability construction of traditional villages,analyzing the problems existing at the current stage,establishing an evaluation index system,and proposing practical and relevant improvement measures and recommendations,It is the focus of this paper.Through the previous data collection,literature induction and field exploration,the article combs and summarizes the theories related to livability,it analyzes the connotation of livability and further explores the particularity of construction.Based on the cognition of the current status of livability construction in traditional villages,the article draws on and compares the evaluation index system of urban and community livability,combines the characteristics of traditional villages,according to the relevant principles,the traditional village livability evaluation index system was constructed from five aspects: natural environment,living conditions,infrastructure,social economy and human environment.Subsequently,taking Qiankou Town of Huizhou District as an example,through field research,analyze and collect the current characteristics of traditional villages and the basic data needed for research,the entropy method is used to objectively weight the data,and the evaluation results of the habitability of traditional villages in Qiankou Town are obtained.Analysis the research results and individual indicators,the conclusions are as follows:(1)The level of livability of traditional villages in Qiankou Town is generally high,and the differences between villages are not obvious.(2)The location,scale and development level of the village are the main factors restricting the livability of traditional villages,the higher level of infrastructure and socio-economic development,the better livability level is.(3)the natural ecology,living conditions and cultural environment of a village have no significant influence on their livability.(4)Among the various evaluation indicators: fire protection facilities,road traffic,educational facilities,medical facilities,public spaces,and the street space of the villages are particularly important for the influence of the livability of traditional villages.Finally,based on the evaluation of the analysis results,in view of the problems existing in the traditional villages of Qiankou Town,the article puts forward corresponding countermeasures and suggestions for livability improvement.hoping to provide reference for improving and developing the livability of traditional villages.
