Study On Rural Human Settlement Design Of The Huangsi Village, Wujian Town, Yangzhou City

In recent years, the construction of "beautiful countryside" has become a major historic task of the modernization construction in the new century. A wave of new rural construction is setting off again in all regions across the country and to improve the living environment of villages has become the primary objective of the new rural construction. Village human settlement is the core of the rural development, the most intuitive performance of new rural construction, ad well as an important for the villagers’ life and laboring. Both the government and the local villagers all want to build a livable ecological space.The research object of this study is the Huangsi Village, Wujian Town, Yangzhou City. This paper starts from the basic concepts, draws lessons from the achievements of foreign rural construction and conducts the study by referring to the theories of Landscape Ecology, Architectural Design, Human Settlements and so on. Starting from the present situation of the construction of village, based on reflecting and draw lessons from previous new rural construction achievements and through a large number of field research and related information collation, it sums up that the village residential environment design should close the ties with the masses, be in line with the production and life, and adhere to local conditions, historical and cultural heritage, as well as the protection of natural ecological principles. In the design practice, it makes reasonable and careful analyses on the problems of messy village landscape, road traffic congestion, shortage of living space, and unsound infrastructures in Huangsi Village, and redesigns the village planning, village architecture, and village landscape on the basis of the previous layout of the new rural construction planning. The water is used as a link in the planning and design, and the road is set as a lined framework to make the design distinctly structured. The architectural design should refine the internal structure, strengthen the construction of the main architectures, and beautify the courtyard space so as to complete the layout and make the structure distinct. The landscape design should perfect the road space, increase the green center, and improve the river landscape, so as to create a pleasant tree-lined environmentVillage human settlement design should experience changes and updates in accordance with the requirements of the times. The theory in this paper provides certain theoretical guidance and support for the future construction of the village residential environment design. It is believed that in the future practice, we can design and construct a new countryside that has a pleasant environment and been equipped with both local characteristics and the characteristics of the times, by taking into account the sustainable development and ecological protection.
