Research On Spatial Form Design Of Traditional Residence Of South Hebei Province Based On Fractal Theory

Fractal theory is a discipline based on fractal geometry to study the complex forms of nature,which brings new opportunities for architectural design and evaluation.At present,most of the research on traditional residence in southern Hebei still stays in the qualitative analysis of the layout and structure of residential houses by systematic thinking analysis,It lacks the quantitative analysis of the self-organized growth mode of “bottom-up” conforming to traditional dwellings.The application of fractal theory can make up for this deficiency,conform to the traditional residential growth model,and conduct a deep discussion on its construction rules,formation process and causes.As an important material carrier of regional culture,traditional residence have important research value in terms of its spatial form,generation law and growth process.The formation and growth mode of traditional residence is a “bottom-up” process,which is in line with fractals.The theory of self-growth and self-organizing growth law,from the perspective of fractals to study the traditional dwellings in southern Hebei,objective quantitative analysis of the traditional dwellings in southern Hebei and its formation rules,can complement existing research results,expand research methods and ideas,for this The protection of traditional residential houses in the region creates new buildings with ethnic and local characteristics in southern Hebei,and modern planning and architectural design have important value.Guided by fractal theory,this paper explores the principles and strategies of fractal research for traditional residence in southern Hebei.It uses fractals and methods,including Grasshopper programming simulation method,fractal analogy method and fractal selfsimilarity method,to form traditional residential settlements and architectural level space in southern Hebei.The study of morphology,formation regularity and natural fractal characteristics,comparative analysis of the traditional settlement level of traditional residence and the dimensional change trend of the individual building level,mining the hidden influence factors and formation regularity of fractal data,provide inspiration for modern planning and architectural design.The traditional residential fractal design strategies and methods reveal the generation methods,morphological characteristics and complex fractal generation rules of traditional residence,and explore the fractal aesthetics and evaluation of traditional residence.The growth of the traditional settlement space in southern Hebei follows the self-similarity.The plains and mountain settlements follow different development modes of settlements,but they all take the similarity and harmony with the natural environment as the primary development law,and the iterative relationship between the spatial form and the natural topography.The vertical structure of mountain residence is more complicated than that of plain residence;traditional residence continue the natural fractal features of the settlements,and the traditional “bottom-up” selforganization of the traditional houses in the plains constitutes a unique fractal system of “roomhouse-courtyard-block-settlement”.In modern urban planning,we should respect the natural conditions in the city,control the dimension of the planning system to be close to the natural dimension,meet the needs of humanization,and use the fractal design principles,strategies and methods as the planning basis and means for its spatial form.Scientific and rational planning with traffic organizations to construct urban space for fractal systems.Pay attention to the design of architectural regionality and architectural abundance,construct cultural symbols of architecture,establish a formal language order that is harmoniously developed in part and overall,and realize the coordination and unification of the “fractal element” space or detail with the overall construction and construction environment.
