Research On Street Space’s Micro-Regeneration Strategy Based On Vitality Evaluation

Street space is the most common public space in the city,and it is an important place for people to carry out daily communication activities.However,with the evolution and development of the city,some historic and characteristic street spaces can not meet the public’s living needs,and begin to lose vitality and decline.In addition,in the process of street space reconstruction,extensive development,large-scale demolition and neglect of the renewal of human values have caused more serious persecution to the space.These problems reflect the contradiction between the renewal and protection of street space at the present stage in China.At present,the renewal of street space is facing many difficulties,such as the relatively fragile space environment,the unequal value of buildings and the unequal quality,which are difficult to be properly solved by traditional renewal methods.How to protect the historical context of street space while exploiting and utilizing the value of space so that street space can adapt to the development of the city and rejuvenate its vitality has become an urgent problem to be solved.The main body of the research can be divided into five parts: introduction of research background,basic analysis of relevant research,research on micro-renovation system of street space based on vitality evaluation,case study and quantitative analysis,and Research on micro-renovation strategy of street space.On the basis of combing and summarizing the theories of spatial vitality and micro-renewal at home and abroad,through the analysis and research of the spatial elements affecting street vitality,and the quantitative evaluation of street space,the renewal target of street space is obtained through analysis.Combining with micro-renewal theory,the paper concludes that the renewal target of street space is pertinent,operable,low-interference and can promote the renewal of street space vitality.And to promote the sustainable development of space micro-renovation strategy.In this study,the theory of micro-renovation assisted by spatial vigor assessment was used.It intends to protect the environment and atmosphere of street space,inherit the history and context of street space,and ultimately enhance the public’s willingness to stay in street space,so as to achieve the purpose of enhancing the vitality of the street.
