The Influence Of Lu Merchant Culture On Jiaodong Traditional Residence

Surrounded by the sea on three sides,indented with many harbors and a winding coastline,Jiaodong peninsula has always had developed maritime transportation and prosperous maritime trade.Its special geographical environment and superior geographical location promote the development of its commercial activities,but also promote the formation and development of the Lu merchant culture.At the same time,Lu merchant culture exerted a subtle a subtle influence on people’s minds,behaviors and architectural forms and other aspects.Based on the field investigation,literature collection,comparative research,interviews survey,interdisciplinary research methods,this thesis takes the traditional houses in Jiaodong as the research object,analyzes the basic characteristics of Lu merchant culture and combines specific examples to expound the influence of Lu merchant culture on Jiaodong traditional residence.The research is divided into three parts,the first part is background materials and theoretical research,based on the analysis of regional environment such as natural environment and commercial environment in Jiaodong area,points out that the geographical location and developed maritime traffic in the Jiaodong area promote the formation and development of commercial trade.And summarizes the formation and cultural characteristics of Lu merchant culture on the analysis of the trade activities of Jiaodong businessmen.The second part is the analysis of the physical form,discusses the different influences of Lu merchant culture on the architectural style,layout form,architectural decoration and architectural details of the traditional houses in Jiaodong based on the field investigation and research.The third part is practical significance,combining with practical cases,from the perspective of beautiful rural construction in Jiaodong,it puts forward suggestions and opinions on inheriting and developing the Lu merchant culture from the perspective of the beautiful rural construction in Jiaodong.It is beneficial to inherit and carry forward the Lu merchant culture with regional tradition through the study of Jiaodong traditional folk houses and the deep excavation of the culture background of Lu merchant behind them.At the same time,the thesis puts forward some appropriate suggestions for the construction of beautiful countryside from the perspective of Rural Revitalization strategy according to the problems existing in rural construction in Jiaodong area.
