With the rapid development of national highways,high-speed railways,and inter-city light rails,the rapid growth of private cars,the rapid expansion of Internet-based vehicles relying on mobile Internet technology,the rapid advancement of civil aviation,and the rapid upgrading of urbanization and modernity,and the great changes in the way of life and production,which have greatly promoted the complex diversity of intercity travel modes.In order to better meet the complex diversification requirements of intercity passenger travel,it is very necessary and timely to study the travel behavior of intercity passengers in the new era.This research will help to provide evidence for intercity passenger flow forecasting,rational allocation of transportation resources,optimization of transportation structure,improvement of passenger transportation service quality,and construction of a scientific and comprehensive transportation passenger transportation system.It also provides important research theoretical value for this field.Based on the results of domestic and foreign research related to passenger travel and the accumulation of data obtained from various aspects,this paper defines the connotation of intercity travel and the main modes of transportation for intercity travel,and analyzes the realization process of intercity travel from the perspective of passenger travel.Based on the actual survey data,this paper analyzes the characteristics of intercity passenger from the purpose of travel,travel time,travel expenses and travel distance,and analyzes the demand characteristics and travel psychology of intercity passengers from the perspective of demand.From the macro and micro perspectives,the influencing factors of intercity passenger travel mode selection behavior are divided into three aspects: social economic development,passengers' own attributes,and transportation mode service attributes.Then,based on the structural equation model principle,combined with the determined indicators,select the corresponding latent variables and dominant variables,and make research hypotheses.Based on the planned behavior theory,the inter-city travel mode selection behavior model is constructed.Finally,combining the actual survey data of Xi'an to Baoji section,five factors including safety,comfort,convenience,economy and punctuality are selected as potential indicators.The path analysis is carried out by AMOS software,and the corresponding path parameters are obtained.Combined with the model adaptation index,the model is modified,and the inter-city passenger travel mode selection correction model is obtained.Combined with the calculated results,the corresponding application suggestions are put forward.
