This paper introduces in detail the development of the existing static Var compensation device(SVC)at home and abroad,and the application of Fushun 66 k V static Var compensation device(SVC).The harmonic pollution caused by the high power nonlinear load produced by the aluminum plant in the peace network is effectively solved,the amplitude and frequency of the voltage fluctuation in the station tend to be stable,the power quality is greatly improved,and the objective economic benefits are also brought about.Based on the operation mode of Fushun Peace Substation and the related test of busbar,the SVC device is developed and put into operation after solving the technical problems.Based on the accident of SVC plant in Fushun Peace Substation,this paper carries out site investigation,data analysis and demonstration,fault research and analysis,and puts forward some reasonable suggestions.Finally,the working principle,fault types and preventive measures of(TCR)in SVC device are introduced.The matters needing attention in the operation of phase controlled reactor are expounded.The normal operation mode,operation maintenance and inspection of phase controlled reactor are discussed.And the phase control reactor anomaly and accident treatment are discussed,which provides the basis for the safe operation of SVC device.
