With the continuous development of economy and technology,people's living standards are constantly improving,and more and more demands are placed on power services.The power system is a complex complex composed of a variety of equipment and components.In order to ensure the normal operation of the power system,it is necessary to conduct regular tests to detect the condition of the equipment.When the fault occurs,it can be discovered and solved in time.Avoid accidents such as temporary power outages,bring people's production and life unchanged,and strive to ensure the safe and stable operation of the entire power system.However,there is danger in the process of high-voltage test,which seriously threatens the life safety of field workers.Therefore,it is of great significance to the design and development of high-voltage test safety protection system for electrical equipment.This paper starts from the actual situation of Pulandian.During the process of high-pressure test,the cross-worker randomly crosses the fence and other undesirable phenomena.The unauthorised situation such as leaving the post by the guardian has occurred,which brings serious threats to the operators on site.The importance of the design and development of the high-voltage test safety protection system for electrical equipment is highlighted.Then three test accidents are discussed in detail,which further attract people's attention,and the causes of the accident are discussed in detail,and corresponding countermeasures are proposed.In the face of current technical means,when there is a safety hazard at the test site,the most effective method is to quickly cut off the power supply and terminate the test in time to avoid the accident.There are a total of three protections involved in this paper,namely infrared warning,low-frequency wireless sensing and foot switch,which together escort the safety of the entire test.After the completion of the development of the high-voltage test safety protection system,the Nanshan Power Supply Station and the Lushan Power Supply Station of Pulandian were put into use.The results show that the existence of these three kinds of protection can really protect the safety of field workers and has practical significance.
