Steel box girder bridge decking has always been the key technology for the construction of long-span steel box girder.The academic and engineering circles of bridge research at home and abroad also attach great importance to this.The bridge deck pavement system is located at the outermost part of the bridge and belongs to the part directly in contact with the driving vehicle.It is indispensable in the bridge structure.At the same time,as a force layer of the bridge system,the structure can help the bridge deck to disperse loads and cooperate with each other.Therefore,the steel box girder deck pavement layer as a protective layer of the bridge deck also avoids the damage of the bridge deck too early.The protective layer avoids premature failure of the deck.Whether the steel box girder deck pavement layer can be reasonably designed can really determine whether the bridge can have sufficient strength stiffness and stability to achieve its road performance without damage,and also determine whether the bridge can have better durability.And a long service life.The construction and research of large-span steel box girder bridges in China has begun more than 20 years ago.Through rigorous investigation and careful analysis,it is found that dozens of existing steel box girder bridge decks have been built and put into use.It can be seen that these bridges are far from the structural use and the comfort requirements of the use in the actual use process.Cracks,displacements,overcrowding,damage and other structural diseases occur.These problems are not only common in China,but also in foreign steel box girder bridges.And the construction process has also occurred from time to time.It seems that the problem of steel box girder deck pavement is a global technical problem that needs to be solved urgently.Based on this,we propose a steel box girder bridge paving scheme that uses latex cement mortar as the paving material.The mechanical analysis of steel bridge deck pavement was carried out by finite element analysis method.The variation of transverse strain distribution of new latex cement mortar-filled high performance asphalt pavement layer under wheel load was studied.The bond strength between them,the vertical displacement of the steel box girder pavement layer,and the mechanical strength and road performance of the latex cement mortar-filled asphalt concrete were studied experimentally.And compared with the results of finite element analysis.The test results and analysis show that the latex cement mortar-filled asphalt pavement layer has the advantages of continuous asphalt pavement layer and the advantages of traditional cement concrete pavement anti-rutting,and has advantages in construction cost and construction convenience,and curing time.Short,it can be opened quickly after construction,and the effect is good.Based on the above advantages,combined with the high strength characteristics of cement concrete and the flexibility of asphalt concrete and smooth running characteristics,the semi-flexible pavement technology of latex cement mortar-filled asphalt material was studied and applied to steel box girder pavement for improving traditional paving.The layering performance is significant.Finally,this paper proposes that latex cement mortar-filled asphalt mixture has a good development prospect as a bridge deck paving material.
