China is currently in a period of strategic opportunity for the transformation, upgrading and development of the construction industry.Traditional production methods in the construction industry can no longer meet the needs of social development and energy conservation and environmental protection. The implementation of national strategies such as “One Belt and One Road” and “New Urbanization” has brought about powerful opportunities for the development of China's construction industry. On the other hand,it has also presented a huge challenge to the development model and process of the industry..Due to its advantages of less consumables, low energy consumption, less environmental pollution, long life cycle, and low manpower demand, the industrialization of new buildings has become an important way to meet the development needs of the industry and realize the transformation and upgrading of the construction industry. However, due to the limited reality of the development of the industry, the development of new-type construction industrialization currently has problems such as “there is no large-scale market” and “the lack of corresponding industry standards”.With the promulgation of a series of policies of the State Council in the near future, the industrialization of new buildings will develop at a foreseeable high speed. However, the development of the industry first puts forward requirements for talented people.Engineering management professionals with a new type of architectural industrialization thinking will have a vast market for demand in the future. The future talents in the new-type construction industrialization project management will come from the cultivation of universities and colleges.Unfortunately,at present our higher engineering colleges and universities have not invested enough energy in this direction. In order to explore the knowledge system that engineering management professional needs in the context of new-type architecture industrialization, and to propose related curriculum for colleges and universities, this study uses in-depth interviews and questionnaires to combine research and analysis.First of all, this research adopts the questionnaire survey method, the interview method, the statistical analysis method and the comprehensive investigation to obtain the “Capability Framework of Engineering Management Professionals under the Background of New Industrialization”.Further, this article selects seven engineering institutions of higher learning that have a long history of establishment, earlier professional development, and rich experience in engineering management as samples, and plans and courses for their undergraduate programs in engineering management.Based on the "Capability Framework",the matching degree between the setting of the university's engineering management curriculum system and the "Capability Framework" was analyzed, and the conclusion was drawn that the schools lacked the curriculum to match the new industrialization content.Subsequently, based on the “Capability Framework”,this study conducted research on various stakeholders in the industry “the knowledge system of engineering management professionals under the background of new-type construction industrialization”,and used the “ability-course” mapping matrix to reflect the capability framework. The relationship with the corresponding course. In the end, this paper synthesizes the above results and proposes a set of undergraduate curriculum proposals for engineering management that meet the needs of the new type of industrialization: two courses,"Creation of New Content" and "Opening a New Course."...
