Research On Refined Management Of Traffic Organization Of Urban Arterial Road In Jinzhong City

At present,China's small and medium-sized cities are developing rapidly.With the rapid growth of motor vehicles and non-motor vehicles,the pressure on the road traffic is increasing.As the core of the urban road transportation system,urban arterial roads play a key role in the development of urban traffic and the effective diversion of traffic flow.However,there are many problems in traffic organization management of many urban arterial roads that restrict the arterial roads from playing their role.In the main urban areas,the extensive civil engineering is not the best way to solve these road problems because of some problems such as land and economy and the like.This paper studies the fine management countermeasures of the arterial traffic organization to fully exploit the existing roads' resource potentials of arterial roads in order to improve the traffic efficiency of the urban arterial roads and to ease the traffic congestion in cities.According to the present situation of traffic organization management of urban arterial roads in Jinzhong City,this paper analyzes its main problems and respective reasons,and on this basis of the above-mentioned part,it researches the refined management strategies for the road intersection,road section,special road sections(including school section)by combining with the actual traffic of urban arterial roads to achieve the purpose of improving the urban arterial road traffic efficiency.This thesis is divided into three parts.First of all,the background and significance of this research are introduced,and the contents,methods and technical route of this research are determined by summarizing and analyzing the relevant documents on the fine management of transportation organization at home and abroad.It also expounds the connotation and common methods of the refined management of arterial traffic organization.The second part is the analysis of the problems,that is,through a comprehensive field study of the current situation of the traffic organization of urban arterial roads in Jinzhong City,the seven arterial roads in the urban areas were selected as the research objects of this thesis,and from the intersection of arterial roads,the main road section,and the special road sections(including the school section),the thesis also studies the main problems existing in the fine management of traffic organization of urban arterial roads in Jinzhong City and make a comprehensive analysis of their causes.The last part of is the solution.In response to the previously identified major problems in the fine management of the traffic organization of urban arterial roads,a refined management strategy is proposed,including countermeasures such as setting up non-motor vehicle waiting areas,comprehensive waiting areas for motor vehicles,and turning left on the road,fully exploits the potential of time and space resources at the intersection of arterial roads to ensure safe and efficient nodes,ensures the orderly flow of arterial road sections through the "zipper" traffic,bus lane organization,non-motorized vehicle organization,pedestrian crossing organization and other countermeasures,and improves the safety and traffic efficiency of school sections(special sections)by setting up nursing passages,centralized waiting areas,parking areas and other countermeasures,are improved.Based on the above points,it puts forth the corresponding fine management measures for the main problems of its existing traffic organization by combining the sections and intersections between Yingbin Street and Shuncheng Street on Zhongdu Road in Jinzhong City,and the empirical study on Taihang Primary School section of Yingbin Street and verify the expected results of the proposed countermeasures via the VISSIM simulation software.
