The surging seismic activities in the world has seriously affected the normal production and living of human being,especially the earthquake happened in Wenchuan,China on May 12,2008 and in east Japan on March 11,2011 caused heavy loss of life and property。Now many countries on the actively seismic belt more and more pay attention to the research of seismic regularity and destruction,they have already made or are developing stricter building code to improve the safety guarantee of human being under natural disaster,as the key backup power source for urgent situation,uninterruptible power supply(UPS)used as building attachments need to meet more stringent test requirements,in order to enhance the performance against earthquake.Now one method used universally is to fix the UPS cabinet with the floor、wall or ceiling of room in building by some kind of structure parts.This paper will study the anchor bracket fixing input and output electronic cabinet of UPS on the floor,based on the mechanics of material、mechanical vibration theory and finite element method,utilize the 3D engineering software Croe to create the digital geometrical model,then import into ANSYS workbench software to build the finite element model,put static and seismic load on the anchor bracket,analyze the weak points of geometric structure and redundant material,meanwhile calculate the modal characteristic and harmonic response parameter,this calculation and analysis provide the reference for optimization design of anchor bracket;Adopt sensitivity analysis theory,based on the response surface method,implement the structure optimization design of anchor bracket,and compare the stress and deformation of anchor bracket between original one and optimized one.The research shows that the optimized anchor bracket,in the case of reducing half weight,meet the requirement the stress is lower than the allowable stress of material.This paper also studies the influence to the dynamic characteristics of cabinet by the optimized anchor bracket,calculate and analyze the effect that the side panels and rear panels improve the rigidity of cabinet frame;combine the result of random vibration analysis,Miner law and three interval means are employed to calculate the fatigue strength of anchor bracket,the nCode Designlife software is carried on to calculate the fatigue life of anchor bracket.The calculation result shows the optimized anchor brackets meet the need for fatigue strength,meanwhile the fatigue life meet the request.This paper researches the structure and mechanical characteristics of anchor brackets securing cabinet on the floor,this research result provides the valuable reference for improving the anti-seismic impact performance of electronic cabinet.
