Research On Economical Planning And Design Of Cemetery Located In The Main City Of Chongqing

With the acceleration of urbanization in Chongqing,the population aging rate has been continuously improved and the peak of funeral burial has followed too.The demand for the cemetery has increased and the scale expansion has intensified.In the traditional cemetery,there are wastes of all kinds of resources like low comprehensive utilization rate,encroachment on urban construction land and agricultural land,splitting the overall landscape space of the city and the sharp contradiction between people and land.Based on current situation and to construct a resource-saving society,promoting on a mode of ecological funeral and transforming the traditions of funeral burial are of great importance.Planning and designing for the Chongqing cemetery under the concept of economize to provide a theoretical guidance for the future planning and construction of the Chongqing cemetery.Based on the analysis of the research background and the research progress of the economical cemetery,this paper gives an overview on the basic situation of the cemetery and summarizes the factors may affect the economical planning and design for the cemetery.Garden theory,landscape planning&design theory,sustainable development theory and green funeral related management regulations are all theoretical supports.Through public survey on the planning and design for economical cemetery,the investigation on Chongqing’s main cemetery and the summary of Chongqing public opinion on the cemetery,the impact of economical plannings and designs,as well as the non-saving problems in the planning and design for cemetery now have been put forward the principles,plannings and design strategies for the economic planning and design for Chongqing cemetery.The specific research results are as follows:(1)The cemetery is the product of the times and is influenced by the social and cultural background and productivity.It has the characteristics of humanistic commemoration,life and death,landscaping,eco-saving and inheritance.Based on thepresent situation of the cemetery and related theoretical research,the following factors affecting the conservation planning designs of the cemetery are summarized from the planning and design level: The factors at the planning level include the location of the cemetery,the scale of the cemetery,the function of the cemetery and the planning layout;the factors at the design level include land resource conservation design,water conservation design,material conservation design and energy conservation design,and refine and analyse specifically via all these factors..(2)According to the questionnaire survey,there is a significant peak change in the traffic volume of the cemetery.The Chongqing people’s site selection,transportation mode selection and functional positioning of the cemetery are increasingly diversified.Ecological funerals,Internet&physical cemeteries and the social acceptance of the economical cemetery has been improved.The planning for the conservation of the cemetery has been proposed in response to the above situations.In the field research,the certain progress has been made in economical planning and design in the main urban cemetery of Chongqing,which include: some cemeteries choose to create a good condition site and make full use of the original terrain,and the planning layout is adapted to the terrain.The construction cost is reduced,and the application of native tree species and stress-resistant tree species is extensive,the combination of wind pool and rainwater recovery is combined to improve water resource utilization.At the same time,there are also many problems in the planning and design level: improper site selection,unclear classification of scale,inaccurate functional positioning,spatial layout pattern,lacking for composite functional division,imperfect road network system,insufficient plant comprehensive benefits,funeral burial problems such as unreasonable planning;lacking for flexible layout of terrain and usage of three-dimensional space,lacking for flexibility of space,insufficient reuse of new materials and wastes,insufficient recycling of rainwater,backward water-saving technologies,lacking for development and utilization of the new energy and etc.(3)The planning and design of economical cemetery in Chongqing should follow the planning principles of sustainable,efficient intensive,functional compound and cultural heritage innovation and save resources,reduce costs,adapt to local conditions,low impact development,function priority,and supplemented by form.,technologyintelligence,design principles for innovative use.Aiming at the problems in the conservation planning level of the cemetery,the paper proposes a conservation-oriented site selection strategy from the construction conditions of the cemetery,policy and regulation,and optimizes the scale index system of the cemetery according to the survey results and relevant norms.The sexual function and the characteristic function put forward the strategy of positioning the function of the cemetery,and proposed a conservation planning strategy from the aspects of spatial layout,functional zoning,transportation system,plant planning,and funeral burial method.Aiming at the problems existing in the economical design level of the cemetery,the implementation strategy of saving land,water,materials and energy is put forward in a targeted manner.
