Photoelectric theodolite is important photoelectric tracking measurement equipment which also has the function of real-time monitoring and automatic tracking.As tracking measurement level of the photoelectric theodolite increases continuously,various deficiencies appear in traditional training and testing means.For this end,the author designed a set of visual simulation software for simulated training and testing system of the photoelectric theodolite in this thesis.It has two control modes,i.e.full simulation and semi-physical simulation,so it can be used for either manual tracking of training by the operator or automatic tracking of testing by the theodolite.It has a significant practical application value.In this thesis,the author introduced working principle and operating flow of the photoelectric theodolite at first,analyzed functional needs of each part of the system in detail based on intended goals of the system and designed general framework of the simulation platform,including framework of the visual simulation application and full-simulation and semi-physical simulation frameworks.Then the author made an in-depth study of Creator 3D modeling technology and Vega Prime visual simulation technology,finished basic construction of the virtual scene and realized such visual simulation function modules as viewpoint control,environmental simulation,special effect simulation,character and graphics drawing,camera optical parameter simulation and field image effect simulation.Then based on the software and hardware platform established,the author transformed the simulated video data to a standard video and output it to the tracking and controlling platform of the photoelectric theodolite.This laid a foundation for testing and evaluation of automatic tracking function of the photoelectric theodolite in the semi-physical simulation mode.Finally,the author gave a detailed scheme for the ballistic testing simulation,analyzed the simulation results and put forward testing and evaluation approaches of the simulation.The results showed that the system can be effectively applied to simulated training of the photoelectric theodolite,which saves time and training cost.
