Planning Strategies For Ecological Sensitive Districts In Mountain Cities

Due to the high-intensity urbanization of mountain regions and the expansion of mountain cities,a large number of ecological sensitive areas have entered the scope of urban development.These ecological sensitive areas are sensitive to external use and have poor stability.They are prone to detriment to human beings under artificial urging.In the direction of development,the improper use of these areas will affect the development of the entire city.How to protect and appropriately use these ecological sensitive areas in future urban development becomes an important issue.In this paper,through literature data citations,case studies,coherent and comprehensive research methods,starting from the conceptual connotation of ecological sensitive areas,the domestic and international research and practice progresses of ecological sensitive areas are reviewed.Also,environmental sensitive areas,ecologically fragile areas,and ecological systems are analyzed.Balanced and ecological service functions and other related theories are related to the ecological sensitive area theory,establishing a more comprehensive three-dimensional understanding of ecologically sensitive areas.Then this paper analyzes the multiple classification methods of ecologically sensitive areas and points out the common areas of urban ecologically sensitive areas.The type discusses the relationship between ecological sensitive areas and urban development.After that,this paper analyzes the reasons for the ecological sensitivity of mountain cities and the characteristics of ecological sensitivity in mountainous cities,and concludes that the sensitive area classification method for the study of mountain ecosystem characteristics is based on this paper.The problems in the sensitive areas of mountain cities are analyzed from the current ecological environment and planning ideas in sensitive areas.This paper then proposes the overall strategies for the planning of ecological sensitive areas in mountain cities,and carries out ecological sensitivities to the three typical ecological sensitive areas in mountain cities respectively.Analysis by analyzing its sensitivity,the mechanism of action,combined with the experience provided by relevant planning cases,explores the planning adaptation methods under different sensitive conditions of mountainous environments.Finally,this paper selects the typical mountain city of Lushui City of Yunnan Province as a case,and applies the ecological specificity and ecological sensitivity mechanism based on the location.The analysis method proposes ecological adaptation and development of appropriate planning strategies.At the end of this paper,an attempt is made to summarize the working ideas and methods for the planning strategies of mountain urban ecological sensitive areas,with a view to further planning and management work and to the further development of ecological sensitive areas in mountain cities.Research provides reference ideas.Through the study of this paper,the following results are obtained:1.The concept of ecological sensitive areas refers to the sensitive response to changes in the natural environment,the poor stability of the ecological system,the tendency to develop in the direction of unfavorable to human use under the multiple stresses of human or natural factors,and in the existing economy and technology.Under the conditions,the negative effects are not easy to be effectively contained.In related theories,the ecological sensitive area is a type of environmental sensitive area theory.Ecological sensitive areas may develop into ecological fragile areas if they are not properly protected.The status of ecological sensitive areas is related to the balance of ecosystems,and the degree of ecological sensitivity depends on the ecosystem disturbance and stability.The important purpose of ecological sensitive area planning is to protect and give play to ecological service functions.The ecologicall sensitive area can be classified based on level,function,or integrated level and function by adopting the methods of ecological sensitivity analysis and ontology-buffer analysis.2.Due to the factors of geological features,hydrological climate,and urban development,the sensitive areas of mountainous cities have formed complex,dynamic,and systematic sensitive features.Based on these characteristics,this paper considers the characteristics of planning disciplines that focus on space and is oriented to the terrain.The classification of ecological sensitive areas in mountainous cities is typical of hilly,gully,and waterfront areas.In these ecological sensitive areas,there are ecological environmental problems such as the omission of regional features,threats to environmental safety,the dismemberment of the original ecosystem,and the unity of ecological service functions.We should focus on the single planning objectives and the separation of basic environmental units in the planning thinking.Ignoring the dynamics of the ecosystem,the difficulty of passive defense in the marginal areas,and the inadequacy of the control factor system.3.The overall strategy of ecological sensitive areas in mountain cities is to implement planning ideas that adapt to natural processe in the planning concept.Follow the logic of regional differentiation in the logic of planning.And use the principle of constructing urban ecological security as the guideline in planning and layout.Functionally,it should protect and play the multi-service function of the mountain ecosystem.These strategies have a certain degree of deepening and adaptability to three types of hillside,valley and waterfront areas.4.The special geological features,hydrological climate,land use,soil,and vegetation of Surabaya City constitute a unique ecological sensitive feature: the geomorphic and climatic conditions of alpine valleys create diverse habitats with different altitudinal and regional locations,with serious soil erosion and geology.The prominent conditional constraints make the regional ecological sensitivity higher.With the economic growth and population growth driven by urbanization,the contradiction between people and land is further intensified.In terms of planning strategies,the gul valley and waterfront areas are mainly used as ecological corridors to connect Nu River water bodies,nature reserves,park green spaces,protective green areas,forest lands,and other important ecological patches,and hill slopes with different slopes are used as the bases to construct ecological security pattern in Lushui downtown area.On the slopes of the central city,emphasis is placed on maintaining the landscape features of mountain slopes,conforming to the terrain design roads and architectural forms,and planning mountainous parks.On land and valleys in central urban areas,land formation,pedestrian-vehicle access,and prevention of soil erosion are emphasized.Flood control design is emphasized in the riverside area of the central city,natural coastline,natural habitat,landscape and water,cultural characteristics.
