In the process of rapid urbanization in the era of incremental development,many cities in China have experienced the phenomenon of spatial disorderly growth.As a policy tool for urban space growth management,urban development borders have gradually gained attention in foreign countries.The development of urban development borders is still in its infancy,and its delineation methods are still under discussion.The essence of urban development boundary is to determine which space can be developed centrally.Under the background that China's cities are transformed from extensional extension to connotative mining,comprehensive analysis and efficient use of supplyable space supply and demand is the demarcation of urban development boundary.The basics.Based on the methods of literature review and empirical research,based on the clear background of the topic,the significance of the research and the summary of the relevant research,this paper constructs a “measurement of the supply and demand of the developable space—coordinating the supply and demand of the developable space—demarcating the urban development boundary."Delineation of urban development boundaries for the main line.Firstly,in terms of supply and demand measurement,the main components of supply and demand for development space are defined.The supply side is divided into actual supply,stock supply and incremental supply.The demand side is divided into realization demand,human settlement environment improvement demand and population industry growth demand.The measurement method of each subject;then in the supply and demand coordination,including the two dimensions of quantity coordination and shape matching,in the quantitative coordination,the comparative analysis of the supply total and the demand threshold is proposed to adjust the available space supply at the current stage.In terms of morphological matching,the paper analyzes the appropriate spatial morphological structure(reflecting demand)and the morphological structure of the total amount of space available for development,and discusses how the two can coordinate with each other to achieve morphological matching.Finally,based on the analysis of supply and demand results The urban development boundary discusses five urban development boundary scenarios corresponding to the different composition of the supply and demand entities,and the adjustment methods of urban development boundaries.In this paper,Taiyuan City is also the empirical research object.According to the above analysis methods and based on the two scenarios of population industry growth,the corresponding two urban development boundaries are delineated.Compared with the existing urban development boundary demarcation method,this study integrates the supply of available space and the needs of human settlements into the supply and demand analysis,affecting the shape and scale of the urban development boundary;strengthening the adjustment of supply and demand to promote the city.Sustainable development and urban development boundaries guide the urban spatial structure.The research draws the following conclusions:(1)The exploitable space supply measurement promotes the intensive use of land resources,and reduces the utilization of enhanced developable space and the utilization efficiency of land resources through the excavation of the inventory developable space,thus affecting the The scale and shape of the urban development boundary;(2)The development of space demand measurement to improve the quality of life of urban residents,the need to improve the living environment needs to be included in the measurement,to make up for the unmet need of space,improve the quality of life of urban residents,and influence The scale and shape of the urban development boundary;(3)the development of space supply and demand coordination and the enhancement of the urban development boundary,and the scientific control of the development boundary of the city can be improved through the coordination of quantity and shape matching of the developable space.In terms of scale,on the one hand,the optimal scale and ultimate scale of the city affect the urban development boundary demarcation.On the other hand,the urban development boundary demarcation based on supply and demand analysis not only takes into account the supply and demand situation during the planning period,but also considers the long-term supply and demand situation.Adjust the scale of urban development boundaries at each stage.In terms of form,choose the appropriate spatial form structure for urban development,weigh the benefits of implementing this structure and the costs to be overcome,and optimize the shape of urban development boundaries.
