Research On Grey Space's Design Of Student's Living Areas In Colleges Of Southern China

As a preparatory camp for students to enter the society,colleges are not only a reserve pool for cultivating professional and skilled talents,but also a “big family” and a “small society” for cultivating people with sound personality.The education of students in colleges is not only the teaching of knowledge in the classroom,but also the various spaces outside the classroom.As one of the places with the highest concentration of students and the longest use time,the living area has gradually become an important area for the extension and expansion of college education while playing the role of life.The gray space is the main position for educational activities in this area.The gray space design needs to meet the educational concepts and educational purposes of colleges.The grey space has good regional climate suitability,diverse forms and rich connotations.On the basis of guaranteeing service functions,on the one hand,it enhances the comfort of living areas,on the other hand,it also becomes a space to promote student communication and overall growth.Excellent gray space design makes it easier to create a complete,comfortable and humane environment and atmosphere,and to play the role of educating people and cultivating people.Therefore,compared with many papers discussing architectural space design,this paper attempts to research the influence of college education background on the formation,connotation and results of living space gray space,in addition to discussing the technical elements of space,psychology and behavior.The main research contents of this paper are as follows:The first part of this paper(Chapter 1)mainly discusses the relevant background of college education,and summarizes the scope of research,related research at home and abroad,research purposes,research strategies and techniques,and research framework.The second part of this paper(Chapter 2)simplifies the gray space into a horizontal interface and a vertical interface,focusing on the interface of the gray space itself,the elements inside the interface and the elements outside the interface.It also classifies the behavioral activities of people in the gray space,and paying attention to the number of social activities and the duration and path of activities.The third part of this paper(Chapter 3)compares and analyzes the research cases of gray space in college students' living areas in South China.The fourth part of this paper(Chapter 4 and Chapter 5)summarizes the corresponding design methods and design points of the three types of gray space that “field” type,“line” type and “domain” type,and further elaborates the gray space in the case of functional compounding and morphological compounding,how to organize and evolve the relationship,and get the corresponding design method.The ultimate goal of this paper is to dig out the elements closely related to the design of grey space.It also hopes to promote the study of grey space design in living areas,so as to establish the following viewpoints: the main motivation for the construction of space environment in colleges is educational concepts and educational purposes.The relationship between people and space should be paid attention to in the construction of college education.
