In recent years,consumers have put forward more requirements about the vehicle's comfort,stability,reliability and so.In order to meet these requirements,vehicle electrical and electronic system complexity is increasing,electrical equipment is also increasing,the cost of vehicle design pressure is growing as well.Therefore,how to shorten the design cycle,reduce the design costs,reduce component costs,improve design efficiency has become a main problem in the design and development of electrical and electronic equipment.Through the traditional harness design method analysis and the study of PREEvision,this paper proposes a harness design method based on the model,in order to improve the vehicle electronic and electrical design and development problems.,alleviate the increasing design cost and reduce the repetitive work.PREEvision is a model-based computer-aided design software tool to be used for the design of electronic and electrical architecture development.The features of PREEvision is range from conceptual prototype design phase and specific detailed design phase.The Design of Automotive Electronic And Electrical Harness used by PREEvision based on the traditional harness design method is proposed.A database of components used in the harness design process is created.According to the traditional harness design principles and methods,The principle layer,harness layer and topology layer design and model of the structure are completed in PREEvision.In addition,PREEvision is used to build the matching calculation model to check the selected wiring harness components in the course of the design process.In the design of topology layer,the optimum routing path is selected by using Dijkstra algorithm,in this way,the optimal path and optimized design scheme of harness is obtained.PREEvision is used to build the evaluation harness model to evaluate the harness design.The model of harness loop number,harness length,harness cost,harness weight,average wire diameter is built.The harness design scheme is evaluated using these model.For the different configuration and design in the vehicle design process,PREEvision is used to conduct variant management,and each design of the wire harness is evaluated by the evaluation model to obtain the optimal harness design.
