In China, the number of motor vehicles and drivers are growing rapidly, and the traffic accident rate is high.Drivers are one of the most important factors causing road traffic accidents,so it is necessary to study the driver's driving behavior.Combining the background in the initial stage of promoting defensive driving technology in China,it is of certain significance to carry out research on defensive driving behavior.Defensive driving behavior is a driving behavior, which the driver always maintains defensive driving skills during driving and predicts the existing risk factors and takes preventive measures in advance to avoid traffic accidents. This paper takes the car driver as the research object, analyzes the factor dimension of defensive driving behavior, and constructs the structural equation model(SEM)based on the theory of planned behavior(TPB).The main research work of this paper is as follows:First of all, determing the six factors of defensive driving behavior through detailed analysis of the literature.Combined with TPB,the defensive driving behavior questionnaire was designed, which includes defensive driving behavior scales and defensive driving behavior scales based on TPB.After pre-surveyed project analysis and exploratory factor analysis, the questionnaire items were revised to make the questionnaires have better reliability and validity, and then form a formal questionnaire.Secondly, this paper uses the formal survey effective data and the mean difference test(independent sample t test,one-way ANOVA),to determine the difference in the impact of personal basic information on defensive driving behavior. The analysis found that the drivers who did not violate the rules or did not have traffic accidents uesd to better perform defensive driving behaviors.Using the Matlab and SPSS23.0,drivers are divided into three categories: high/medium/low by k-means clustering.Different groups of defensive drivers, who in the attitude towards the behavior, subject norms concerning behavior, perceived behavioral control and intention to preform behavior of the four aspects of performance, are presenting high defensive driver > medium defensive driver > low defensive driver. Finally,in order to explore the psychology of the driver's defensive driving behavior and the impact of past defensive driving behavior on intention to preform behavior. In the traditional TPB,the potential variable of "defensive driving behavior in the past" is added. With AMOS24.0,the structural equation model of defensive driving behavior based on the theory of planned behavior is constructed. The model results show that attitude towards the behavior and subject norms concerning behavior concerning behavior have no significant intention to implement defensive driving behavior.Preceived behavioral control and past defensive driving have positive effects on the implementation of defensive driving behavior intentions.Attitude towards the behavior, subject norms concerning behavior and preceived behavioral control have a positive positive effect on past defensive driving behavior. In the measurement model analysis, the analysis shows that the difficulty of maintaining defensive driving has a greater impact on the driver's control of his own defensive driving behavior.
