Research On The Development Strategy Of Coke Transportation Business Of J Company Of Tianjin Port Under The Background Of "Road To Railway"

With the development of economy and the progress of science and technology,the competition between ports has become a very serious project.As a major consumer of coal energy,China’s coal transport volume has always maintained a growth trend.In the "North Coal South Transport" transportation system,the distribution of sewer ports is relatively concentrated,mainly around the Bohai Sea.In such a severe competition,Tianjin Port has maintained its own advantages.Coal terminals in southern and Northern Xinjiang have been developing continuously.Compared with other competitors,Tianjin Port has cost advantages in land transportation.However,with the increasing environmental problems in Beijing,Tianjin,Hebei and the surrounding areas,Tianjin Port has to make some adjustments to coke transportation in order to deal with environmental problems,from the original "road transport"to "railway transport".This move is bound to have a certain impact on the entire coke transport industry.J company’s coke transport has received severe challenges.Its throughput has declined sharply after 2017,reaching the original 70%,and Tianjin Port J company’s coke transport will face new challenges.Therefore,this paper focuses on the analysis of coke transportation in Tianjin Port J Company under the background of "steam-to-iron".From a practical point of view,this study is a problem that J Company of Tianjin Port has to face at the present stage,reducing the impact of"Turn Iron" on the original business of Tianjin Port;from a theoretical point of view,this study can provide some reference for the relevant research content and research methods.In order to help enterprises clearly understand the current situation of competition and industry dynamics,the company is facing opportunities and challenges at this stage.Firstly,from the external environment of J company,on the one hand,the external opportunities J company faces are analyzed,including good policy environment,stable level of national economic development,open market competition and continuous improvement of coke transportation channels.On the other hand,the threat of coke transportation of J Company is analyzed,mainly from the fierce competition of surrounding ports,better requirements of environmental governance,industrial adjustment under supply side reform and high requirements of seamount transportation,etc.On this basis,the advantages of coke transportation at present are summarized,mainly including location advantages,comprehensive logistics advantages and good customer relationship.At the same time,the disadvantages of J company’s coke transportation are analyzed,mainly the inapplicability of most cargo sources to railway transportation,the increase of comprehensive logistics cost after "public transit rail" and the constraints of railway transportation.At the same time,using AHP comprehensive evaluation method,the coke transportation situation of J company of "road to railway" was evaluated,and compared with the main competitors.Through analysis,it is found that transportation cost has become the biggest restriction factor in market competition of J company under the condition of "road to railway".Through the analysis of their own advantages and disadvantages and the comprehensive analysis of competitors,as far as possible to play their own advantages,improve the deficiencies,ensure good coke transportation,improve the competitiveness of enterprises.Finally,on the premise of defining the general idea of the enterprise’s main development,the main development strategies of coke transportation of Tianjin Port J Company are summarized from five aspects,which lays the corresponding foundation for the good development in the future.
