It is one of the important means to improve the student's business ability and the level of engine management to train the students in operation and fault checking by using the simulation system of engine simulation.At present,most of China's crew training institutions are equipped with large engine simulation systems,which play an important role in improving the crew level,but the mathematical model of the four-stroke diesel engine in the existing marine engine simulation system is too simplified.Unable to meet the training requirements of maintenance,fault judgment and emergency treatment,it is necessary to establish a mathematical model of four-stroke diesel engine,which can meet the training needs of simulator and realize the performance forecast of diesel engine under different working conditions.Based on YANMAR 6N330L-GW four-stroke medium-speed diesel engine,a mean model and a mathematical model of UG8 hydraulic governor are established.The simulation program based on VC++6.0 is written,and the simulation results are given.The simulation results are compared with the running data of diesel engine.The simulation results show that the mean model can correctly reflects the steady state and dynamic characteristics of diesel engine under different loads,and the simulation error is less than 6%,which can meet the requirements of simulation training.The performance of diesel engine intake temperature and pressure is predicted by simulation model.Diesel engine two and three dimensional operation interface is developed and integrated into engine room simulation system.The simulation model was successfully applied into the existing turbine simulation system,and the training function of the existing generator set was perfected.The mathematical model of four-stroke power generation diesel engine established in this paper can accurately reflect the operating parameters of the diesel engine under different conditions,and can not only be used for teaching and training students in relevant maritime colleges and shipping companies.In the future,it can also provide technical support for shipping companies to develop long-distance fault diagnosis and decision-making systems,which has a certain commercial application value.
