Since 2008,under the influence of the world economic environment,the ship shipping market and the shipbuilding market are mostly in a state of rest.The original Chinese shipbuilding enterprises have no advantage in relying on cheap production materials and labor power support.The number of orders received by the ship has declined overall,and the entire industry is facing tremendous pressure from losses.In this environment,the problem of long ship construction cycle duration has become the focus of major shipyards,and the installation process of the propulsion system during the shipbuilding process takes up most of the entire shipbuilding process.DSIC is also facing the same situation.DSIC was a century-old factory,the inherent production process management system is the main reason for the long installation period of the ship propulsion system and the low production plan.Therefore,it is necessary to promote the system operation management.The upgrading will speed up the construction speed of the ship,shorten the shipbuilding cycle,and continuously improve the production efficiency.It is of great significance for DSIC to smoothly avoid the impact of the economic crisis and improve the competitiveness of DSIC in the ship market.This paper takes the installation process of the P55K chemical series ship propulsion system built by the DSIC as the research object.Firstly,it introduces the basic concepts,characteristics and basic principles of the installation process management of the ship propulsion system,and studies the basic principles and application methods of the critical path method.Establish a critical path model for the installation process of the P55K chemical propulsion system,and analyze the problems existing in the shipbuilding system installation process management of the shipbuilding group in combination with the critical path method.Afterwards,the installation process of the P55K series ship propulsion system was optimized from the aspects of technical management,production management,process management and information management.Finally,the key path of the optimized P55K series chemical tanker propulsion system was carried out.The analysis found that through the implementation of various optimization management measures,the construction period of the propulsion system of the DSIC P55K chemical series ship was significantly shortened,effectively improving the construction efficiency of the series of ships.Through the research of this paper,the critical path theory is effectively applied to the installation and eonstruction of the ship propulsion system,which provides a theoretical reference for the large ship group to promote the installation and management of the system process in the future,and provides a more scientific management method for the installation process of the ship propulsion system.
