Research On The Structure Expression And System Construction Of Traditional Residential Database

Since ancient times,folk houses,as the most practical and historic living space,have always been an important support for human reproduction.The formation of traditional dwellings is adapted to local conditions and circumstances and under the influence of natural geographical environment or cultural atmosphere,which is often integrated with local regional characteristics and has its own internal rules of formation.However,with a long history and different characteristics,traditional dwellings in different regions are affected by a large number of factors and complex types.Therefore,there is a huge amount of research.It is not a day’s work to explore and summarize their characteristics.This paper analyzes the development process and research status of traditional dwellings in China,and emphasizes the urgency of protecting traditional dwellings firstly.Based on theoretical research of dwellings and database technology,this paper sorts out the types and structures of dwellings studied in Zhejiang province and introduces the basic information and design ideas of the database.Secondly,the content of residential and database construction technology is described and elaborated.Then,on the basis of a large number of on-the-spot investigations of residential buildings in Zhejiang province,first-hand data were collected.Elements and features of residential buildings were analyzed and screened.In addition,a database was designed which is based on features such as components of residential buildings and relies on database technology.Finally,it introduces the contents of database in data coding,data entry,database operation and application.Based on the study of interdisciplinary integration and the integration of computer database technology,the research content is no longer limited to the static research of the single building of residential buildings.With the help of the database technology,it starts from the single residential buildings and does macro control from the settlement scale to the large area of residential rules.The research method is no longer limited to survey,mapping and picture description based on architecture,but gradually moves towards the exploration of the formation principle and rules of residential buildings.The database is a comprehensive application platform.So,the database can provide scholars with the functions of data entry,query and analysis of dwellings from the perspective of traditional dwellings,as well as the practical operation basis for the multi-level data preservation of dwellings.In addition,the use of the database of dwellings lays a foundation for the digitalization and rationalization of the study of dwellings as well.
