Researching Of Traditional Villages And Dwellings In Shaoguan Area Basing On The Cultural Geography

Under the impact of urbanization,traditional villages and dwellings are facing severe challenges.The implementation of the rural revitalization strategy proposed at the 19 th National Congress has once again brought rural construction and development into the public’s vision.Shaoguan is located in the north of Guangdong,bordering Hunan and Jiangxi in the north,the Pearl River Delta in the south,Heyuan in the east and Qingyuan in the west.It is an important node of the Five Ridges into Guangdong.In terms of cultural distribution,Shaoguan is located in the transition zone of Xiangchu culture in the north,Guangfu culture in the south,Hakka culture core area in the east and ethnic minority culture in the west.Under the influence of different cultures,its traditional villages and dwellings also show certain characteristics of integration.However,in the previous studies of Shaoguan,most of them focused on the study of some typical villages and dwellings,but lacked the systematic and comprehensive study of traditional villages and dwellings in Shaoguan area.It focuses on the static combing of physical features such as architecture and space,but lacks in-depth research on the combination of time and space.Therefore,from the perspective of cultural geography,this paper takes traditional villages and dwellings in Shaoguan as the research object and systematically sorts out and studies them by means of multi-disciplinary cross-research.The paper divides traditional villages and residential cultural areas,and explores the mechanism of natural and humanistic factors on the cultural landscape of traditional villages and residential houses in Shaoguan.The core content of this paper is mainly divided into three parts:First of all,the survey and field survey on the full coverage of Shaoguan traditional villages and dwellings.Through the research results and the definition of the research objects,the sample objects that meet the research conditions are finally screened out.With the help of Google Earth,Arc GIS and other tools,the geographic information database of traditional villages and dwellings in Shaoguan was established,and the cultural geographic atlas of traditional villages and dwellings in Shaoguan was drawn.Secondly,according to the distribution characteristics of traditional villages and dwellings in Shaoguan,as well as the distribution characteristics of various cultural factors,and combined with the natural environment and geographical division,the cultural area of traditional villages and dwellings in Shaoguan is divided.Then describe and interprete the landscape features of each cultural area.Finally,the evolution process and formation mechanism of traditional villages and residential cultural landscapes in Shaoguan were explored in combination with natural environment,humanistic thoughts,historical migration,Courier communication and ethnic integration.Through the above research,it is concluded that the traditional villages and dwellings in Shaoguan present a regional cultural landscape with Hakka culture as the main body,XiangChu culture,ethnic minority culture,Guangfu culture and other cultures coexisting.The formation of the cultural landscape of traditional villages and dwellings in Shaoguan is the result and manifestation of the collision and integration of various cultures based on the natural environment,guided by the humanistic thought,taken the migration development as the mutation mechanism,and taken the regionalization and the cultural communication of ancient post road as promotion mechanism.
