Research On Traffic Planning And Design Of Small And Medium-sized Cities Based On Intelligent Transportation System

With the acceleration of urbanization and the economic development of small and medium-sized cities in China,with the rapid increase of the number and frequency of private cars,the traffic problems of small and medium-sized cities are increasingly obvious.According to the statistics of national data,by the end of 2018,the number of motor vehicles in China has exceeded 300 million,which makes people understand that the important challenge for the development of small and medium-sized cities is these fast-growing motor vehicles.The emerging traffic problems in small and medium-sized cities have great restrictions on the development of cities and the daily life of urban residents.Therefore,how to deal with the traffic problems in cities with effective methods is the key to the development of small and medium-sized cities in the future.The accumulated experience in the past proves that it is difficult to alleviate the contradiction between the demand for public transport and the supply of public transport infrastructure in small and medium-sized cities by simply increasing the investment in transport construction.In the 21 st century,with the growing maturity of big data,artificial intelligence and other emerging technologies,some small and medium-sized cities at home and abroad begin to pay attention to the construction of intelligent transportation system projects.Based on the background of its construction,this paper studies the traffic planning and design of small and medium-sized cities,puts forward the improvement scheme of traffic planning,and uses the evaluation index system to verify the improvement scheme of urban comprehensive traffic planning based on its with the reference of the constructed evaluation index system of its smoothness of roads in small and medium-sized cities.In this paper,Jiangyou City is taken as a research case,combined with practice,the intelligent technology and measures of intelligent transportation system are introduced,and it is concluded that the development of intelligent transportation is the focus of dealing with traffic diseases in small and medium-sized cities.Firstly,it analyzes the current situation data of small and medium-sized cities,then describes the composition and function of intelligent transportation system in small and medium-sized cities;secondly,it analyzes the improvement path of traffic planning based on its;finally,combined with the development practice of intelligent transportation system in Jiangyou City,it puts forward measures to improve the traffic planning scheme based on intelligent transportation system It has a certain reference value for other small and medium-sized cities to build and develop intelligent transportation system.
