Research On The Improvement Of EPC Project Management Based On The BIM Technology

China’s traditional construction industry chain has been in a state of separation for a long time.The design,procurement,construction and other links are usually handled by different entities through bidding,which results in information asymmetry and loss between the various responsible entities,and the disconnected engineering links are also The overall control that affects and restricts the quality,schedule and cost of the project makes it difficult to achieve the expected status of the project.As a pillar industry in China,the construction industry has vigorously promoted the general contracting model and building information upgrading in recent years in order to realize the transformation and upgrading of the construction industry.Based on the management perspective of EPC general contractor,this paper explores and proposes an EPC project management improvement method based on BIM technology by analyzing the application of BIM technology in EPC general contract management tools,methods and processes.Firstly,on the basis of literature research,this paper summarizes the development status and problems of China’s EPC general contract management mode and the application development status of BIM technology,and reviews the theoretical methods involved in the research process.Secondly,through the interview research and summary of the current EPC general contracting project management content,methods,implementation problems and solutions,and based on the technology adoption theory,the hypothetical analysis and test of EPC project BIM technology adoption,for EPC project management implementation The problem is solved based on the BIM technology.Thirdly,based on the countermeasures and suggestions of the third part and the author’s practical experience,the improvement measures of EPC general contracting project management based on BIM technology are proposed.Finally,through the case study of a general contracting project of a resettlement housing project in Zhejiang Province,the EPC project management improvement method was verified and analyzed.The research conclusion proves that BIM technology effectively improves the efficiency and effectiveness of EPC general contract management,and has certain theoretical and practical significance for the application and development of BIM technology for EPC project management.
