Study On Spatial Optimization Of Small Towns Along The Yellow River In Lanzhou

In the period of agricultural civilization,people have a high dependence on rivers.Chinese civilization first developed in the middle and lower reaches of the Yellow River.The Yellow River breeds a long history of Chinese civilization,which is a typical portrayal of River civilization,in which Valley civilization is an important part of River civilization.River Valley and riverway towns can obtain convenient water transportation,irrigation water and terrain defense.Lanzhou is a rare big city in Northwest China.The Yellow River,known as the "four Duzhi" in history,passes through the city.The Yellow River gave birth to Lanzhou.At this stage,its central city is nearly saturated,and its further development is restricted by the valley topography.The importance of small towns along the Yellow River is increasingly prominent.The Yellow River in Lanzhou city was the boundary line between the Central Plains and the minority nationalities in the Qin,Han,song and Ming Dynasties.The small towns along the Yellow River had close historical and cultural ties,which were located at the nodes of multiple linear cultural heritages.The small towns along the Yellow River in Lanzhou city are located in the loess hills and gullies,and their ecological environment is fragile.It is located in a unique natural geographical environment,i.e.the Yellow River Course flows from Lanzhou to the north;small towns are developed in small river valley basins,which are restricted by the natural topography of hills and gullies,with weak regional cooperation,economic and traffic links between towns.Because of its special geographical and spatial distribution,there are various types of river valley towns.In recent years,with the inclination of national policies,the spatial development of small towns along the Yellow River in Lanzhou is in urgent need.This paper starts from the historical evolution of small towns along the Yellow River in Lanzhou City,analyzes the interaction mechanism between their historical function evolution and spatial structure,and summarizes the spatial characteristics and development status of small towns along the Yellow River in Lanzhou City from three levels of regional spatial pattern,town spatial structure and riverside space,respectively,and puts forward corresponding spatial optimization methods and strategies.The history of small towns along the Yellow River in Lanzhou city shows that their historical geographical environment is the same and their regional culture is the same.The rise of small towns is mainly due to four factors: military,trade,transportation and politics.The paper summarizes the favorable and restrictive factors of development.This paper analyzes and discusses the economic and spatial development of Lanzhou central urban area,and analyzes the development status of each small town in terms of its development level,scale and leading functions.This paper discusses the spatial development needs of small towns along the Yellow River in Lanzhou from the aspects of national policy inclination and further development of the central city Lanzhou.Firstly,the spatial distribution pattern of small towns along the Yellow River in Lanzhou is discussed.The general form of urban spatial distribution along the Yellow River in Lanzhou City--with the Yellow River as the link,some towns are arranged in the form of belt beads.The small towns along the Yellow River in Lanzhou city are divided into three types from the perspective of function and space.The small towns along the Yellow River in Lanzhou city are divided into three types: adjacent type,isolated type and suburban type based on the perspective of space.The development status of regional pattern is discussed,that is,the relationship between towns is weak,they are independent,the structure is loose,the regional characteristics are not obvious,the group and the overall effect are not prominent.This paper analyzes the micro location distribution characteristics of six small towns along the Yellow River in Lanzhou City,which are generally divided into two categories:continuous development on the original basis;development center changes with the change of traffic mode.It shows that the micro location spatial distribution of small towns along the Yellow River is affected by the natural geographical environment,traffic conditions,history and culture.Secondly,it discusses the spatial structure characteristics of small towns along the Yellow River in Lanzhou.Based on the analysis of the evolution characteristics of the spatial structure of six small towns along the Yellow River in Lanzhou,this paper concludes that the development modes of the spatial structure of towns can be divided into two types,i.e.linear /belt development mode and cluster spread development mode,and the two development modes are alternately evolving.The historical and geographical environment of small towns along the Yellow River in Lanzhou is the same,and the functional evolution is affected by the functional spillover of regional central cities and the regional spatial structure pattern.The evolution law of the spatial structure of the town is summarized.This paper summarizes the problems in the spatial structure of small towns along the Yellow River in Lanzhou from five aspects,and mainly discusses the Dongchuan Hekou section.Finally,the riverside space of small towns along the Yellow River in Lanzhou is interpreted.It is clear that riverside space is an important part of town space.Riverside space of small towns along the Yellow River in Lanzhou city is in the early stage of development,with obvious edge characteristics.It is proposed that the transformation from edge to visual center should be realized based on the concept of whole area and the perspective of coordinated development of towns.The optimization of riverside space in small towns is mainly based on natural ecological factors and regional cultural factors.This paper classifiesand summarizes the current situation of riverside space in small towns along the Yellow River in Lanzhou from the aspects of land use status,building status,traffic status and space use status.From the above three spatial levels,the spatial optimization strategy of small towns along the Yellow River in Lanzhou is proposed.On the level of regional spatial pattern: the paper puts forward the concept of spatial development of small towns along the Yellow River in Lanzhou City,expounds the basis of overall planning and integrated development,and discusses the specific regional pattern optimization strategies.At the spatial structure level of small towns along the Yellow River in Lanzhou City,optimization methods,paths and strategies are proposed based on optimization principles.Riverside space level: Based on the optimization objectives,the optimization principles,methods and specific strategies are proposed.
