The construction industry accounts for a huge amount of greenhouse gas emissions and energy consumption.How to change this situation is the concern of many researchers.There is a growing emphasis on creating the right balance between low-cost buildings and building sustainability.In recent years,building information modeling(BIM)has become a popular method of sustainable architectural design.BIM can provide relevant building information for building performance analysis,which can save a lot of time and energy to prepare input data for building performance analysis,and reduce human error.The communication and interoperability between software mainly depend on the data exchange format and its mutual compatibility.However,in practice,there is usually a lack of smooth integration between software packages.Creating models in the modeling software may be insufficient,unreadable,or wrong in the performance analysis software,resulting in the "information island" phenomenon,which will make the building performance analysis process very time-consuming or even failure.Therefore,this study aims to improve the data exchange between BIM and green building performance analysis software by using open BIM standards such as industrial foundation class(IFC)and green building extensible markup language(gbXML).Through literature research,building performance analysis,data conversion format research,and the actual development of data conversion software to complete the study.Firstly,through the analysis of IFC data standard and green performance analysis data format gbXML standard and their application and description mechanism in green building information,the matching relationship between them is established,and the automatic conversion method from IFC data to gbXML data is proposed to realize the conversion of green performance analysis data.Besides,in the field of software development,a crucial part is the verification process.Through verification,this paper studies the functions and shortcomings of the software,and finally establishes a tool with good automation and function and uses it in practice.Verify that the project was drawn using modeling software(Autodesk Revit)and then exported to the IFC file format.These IFC models are studied and transformed into gbXML file format by using transformation tools.Then,the gbXML model data is analyzed and verified according to the official schema,and compared with the original IFC model to analyze the differences between the two models and their information scope.Finally,the performance of the whole building is analyzed by using the building performance analysis software design-builder,which shows that the conversion tool can play a role in the process of green building performance analysis.The development of green building performance analysis data conversion software based on BIM Technology can solve the problem of building performance analysis data conversion in the process of architectural design,realize the automatic conversion from IFC to gbXML,open the data transmission between modeling software and green building performance analysis software,support the conversion of building design and building performance analysis data,and effectively reduce duplication Modeling cost can improve the quality of construction engineering,and reduce the project cost and the construction period of preliminary design analysis to the minimum.Through further research,the blind spots in the design and construction process can be eliminated in the future,and human errors can be minimized.
