With the continuous growth of freight duties of railway transportation,the role of marshalling station in the road network is more and more vital.The decomposing efficiency of the hump has an important impact on the operation of the marshalling station,and the speed control system is the core of the disintegration and glide working,which directly affects the decomposing efficiency of the hump.The design of the hump in the marshalling yard of Zabrzeg station was applied relatively early,and many problems appeared on account of the restriction with the technical conditions and poor equipment at that time.Based on the investigation of the station in the early stage,the following problems are found: first,in the process of rolling operation,single hook rolling is still adopted,and continuous rolling can not be realized;second,there are defects in the design of the vertical section,resulting in insufficient rolling interval and the situation that the vehicle does not walk in place in the coupling area.In this paper,we do research in depth,and put forward the corresponding optimization design through theoretical calculation and computer simulation checking.In the coupling area,the common retarder,the controllable retarder and the controllable retarder & the acceleration retarder are used to evaluate different control units respectively.The optimization scheme is obtained to solve the problem that the vehicle does not slide in place in the coupling area.Meanwhile,the microcomputer controlled retarder speed-regulating system is used in the rolling part to regulate the speed,and the acceleration retarder is introduced to control the rolling interval.The optimization design is obtained to solve the problem of insufficient rolling interval in the process of vehicle disassembly.This design basically solves many problems existing in the hump speed control system of the marshalling yard of Zabrzeg station,realizes the full automatic speed control of the hump marshalling operation and the continuous rolling of vehicles,and greatly improves the efficiency of the hump disintegration and marshalling.
