Innovation And Application Of Abstract Symbols In Urban Landscape Design

With the continuous development of today’s era and the continuous improvement of people’s living standard,urban landscape has become one of the most relevant elements for the public in the current urban daily life.Creating a desirable public space environment is the fundamental task of urban landscape planning and an important window for the city to communicate with the outside world.Based on urban landscape space as the research object,this paper draw lessons from the relevant theoretical basis of semeiology,the abstract symbols pulled out alone,build up based on the perspective of abstract symbol for the theoretical framework of urban landscape design,explore the innovative design method of urban landscape,in order to create timely and the competitiveness of city landscape space.Through the review of relevant literature and books,the relevant experience and research results are summarized.It puts forward the social responsibility of urban landscape design to meet the increasing cultural accomplishment and aesthetic needs of the public.The embodiment,structure and meaning of abstract symbol in urban landscape are clarified.This paper expounds the viewpoint that the urban landscape designed with abstract symbol as the main element can better reflect the connotation and emotion of the city.This paper discusses the design principles of abstract symbols: people-oriented,conforming to the fashion,inheriting the tradition and striving for innovation.Three-dimensional flower bed in Shijiazhuang Chang-an park corridor project as an example,the design process of abstract symbols applied to urban landscape were analyzed,and through practical test abstract symbol in the urban landscape,the feasibility analysis of abstract symbol as the main elements for the design of urban landscape design methods and forms,to better demonstrate the abstract symbol in the feasibility and necessity of innovation application in the design of urban landscape.
