The Study Of Public Participation In Urban Renewal In Macao

This study focuses on the historical development of public participation in urban renewal in Macao.By reviewing related international theoretical frameworks,summarizing the policies and laws which the Macao government used to promote urban renewal and public participation before and after the reunification,examining the effectiveness of actual cases and relationship among the government,professionals and public in public participation in urban renewal in Macao,the study evaluates the progress of the public participation in urban renewal in Macao,which the results shows in different periods the government is still investigating the degree and method of public participation in urban renewal while heading to a more open and mutual communication development in general.
