Equipment manufacturing industry is the backbone of national economy,the basis of industrial development and the carrier of high technology.After several generations of efforts,China's equipment manufacturing industry has developed rapidly,but there are still many problems.Especially under the background of green development concept,the equipment manufacturing industry urgently needs to change from relying on resource consumption and environmental damage to maintain competitiveness to resource-saving and environment-friendly growth mode.As an important engine of economic growth,TFP is very important to achieve the dual goals of green and sustainable development of equipment manufacturing industry and continuous improvement of environment.Therefore,it is an urgent need and internal requirement for China's economic development to improve the green total factor productivity of equipment manufacturing industry,change the mode of economic growth and promote its green growth.This paper argues that it is necessary to conduct an in-depth study on the green development of equipment manufacturing industry.On the basis of measuring and dismantling the green total factor productivity,it is necessary to identify the kinetic energy of green growth of equipment manufacturing industry,and explore the factors affecting green growth,in order to seek policy recommendations to promote the green growth of equipment manufacturing industry.Based on endogenous growth theory,sustainable development theory and biased technology progress theory,this paper calculates and disassembles the green total factor productivity of China's equipment manufacturing industry,analyzes its growth momentum,and explores the influencing factors of green growth using regression analysis,so as to provide corresponding policy suggestions for promoting the green growth of China's equipment manufacturing industry.The main contents of this paper are as follows:(1)theoretical analysis of the influencing factors of green growth.On the basis of clarifying the relevant concepts,drawing on the relevant theories and scholars' views,this paper analyzes the factors and mechanism that affect the green growth of equipment manufacturing industry,and puts forward relevant research hypotheses.(2)Measurement and kinetic energy identification of green total factor productivity in equipment manufacturing industry.Based on the comparison of different measurement methods,DEA Malmquist method is selected to measure and decompose the green total factor productivity of equipment manufacturing industry,and technology progress identification method is used to identify the kinetic energy and factor bias of technology progress of equipment manufacturing industry.(3)Measurement of influencing factors of green total factor productivity in equipment manufacturing industry.A comprehensive FGLS method is used to measure the impact of core variables such as environmental regulation,technological innovation and opening up,and control variables such as enterprise scale,human capital,industrial structure and factor allocation on green total factor productivity and its decomposition in equipment manufacturing industry.The main conclusions of this paper are as follows:(1)after a long-term,rapid and stable development,China's equipment manufacturing industry has made some achievements,but there are still some problems,such as insufficient investment in technological innovation,unreasonable talent structure,and insufficient development potential of enterprises.(2)The development trend of green total factor productivity of China's equipment manufacturing industry is fluctuating,and the trend of green total factor productivity of equipment manufacturing industry in the eastern,central and western regions is consistent with that of the whole country,all of which have declined sharply in 2007.(3)Technological progress plays an important role in the growth of green TFP in equipment manufacturing industry.Neutral technological progress is the main driving force to promote technological progress.The contribution of biased technological progress to technological progress is gradually enhanced,and the input biased technological progress has a stronger role in promoting technological progress than the output biased technological progress.(4)The priority of investment biased technological progress factors in equipment manufacturing industry is energy,capital and labor,and the intensive use of energy hinders investment biased technological progress in equipment manufacturing industry.(5)Environmental regulation has a negative impact on the overall green TFP of China's equipment manufacturing industry and the eastern,central and western regions,but it promotes the overall and Eastern,central and western regions' biased technological progress and investment biased technological progress.Technological innovation has promoted the green total factor productivity growth of China's equipment manufacturing industry as a whole and the eastern region,and promoted the biased technological progress and investment biased technological progress of China,the West and the whole.The coefficient of green total factor productivity of China's equipment manufacturing industry as a whole and the eastern region is positive,and the coefficient of green total factor productivity of China's equipment manufacturing industry as a whole,the eastern region and the western region is negative.Enterprise scale and human capital promote the green total factor productivity of China's equipment manufacturing industry,but hinder the biased technological progress and investment biased technological progress.Industrial structure and factor allocation restrain the growth of green total factor productivity of China's equipment manufacturing industry.This paper puts forward the following policy recommendations to promote the green growth of equipment manufacturing industry:(1)China's equipment manufacturing industry needs to choose a reasonable intensity of environmental regulation according to regional characteristics and local conditions,and implement appropriate environmental regulation policies.(2)Equipment manufacturing industry should increase R &D investment and actively promote technological innovation from the perspective of government and enterprises.(3)We will do a good job in screening foreign investment in the equipment manufacturing industry,clearly guide and restrict access to areas,and improve the quality of foreign investment in the equipment manufacturing industry.(4)Actively promote the development of equipment manufacturing supporting enterprises,simplify administrative approval procedures,increase policy support,and solve the financing problem of equipment manufacturing supporting enterprises.(5)We should attach importance to the training of equipment manufacturing professionals,increase investment in high-end talent training,promote the introduction and incentive of enterprise talents,and strengthen the construction of talent team in the equipment manufacturing industry.(6)Optimize the industrial structure of equipment manufacturing industry,eliminate backward production capacity,promote the effective integration with the service industry,and improve the industrial synergy.(7)Improve the quality of input factors in equipment manufacturing industry,ensure the effective supply and flow of factors,and improve the structure of factor allocation.
