| Since the reform and opening up,China’s economy has entered a period of rapid development,but economic development is at the expense of the environment.At present,environmental issues have become the focus of the world’s attention.Maintaining the balance between economic development and the environment is the focus of attention of governments all over the world.Developing economy and giving consideration to environmental protection are the difficulties faced by governments all over the world.As one of the three pillar industries in China,the construction industry has brought great pressure to the environment with its high input and high emission development mode while promoting economic development.Based on the above issues,this study takes carbon dioxide as an unexpected output.Through the SBM-ML index model,it measures the green total factor productivity and decomposition index of the construction industry in 30 provinces and cities in China from 2007 to 2020,and analyzes them respectively from the national,regional and provincial levels.Then draw the spatial distribution map of green total factor productivity in the construction industry,study its distribution characteristics,and use Stata software for spatial autocorrelation analysis.Select factors such as environmental regulation,per capita GDP,technological innovation,opening up level,and industrial structure upgrading,establish static panel regression model and spatial Dubin model for empirical analysis,and study the driving effect of different influencing factors on green total factor productivity of the construction industry.The research results show that:(1)The sample period average of green total factor productivity in China’s construction industry is 1.188,the green efficiency progress index is 1.014,and the green technology progress index is 1.244.Technological progress is an important factor to promote the growth of green total factor productivity in the construction industry.(2)The average green total factor productivity of the construction industry in the eastern,central and western regions of China is greater than 1,and the average value in the central region is greater than that in the western region,which is greater than that in the eastern region.(3)The spatial agglomeration characteristics of green total factor productivity in China’s construction industry are significant,and there is a positive global spatial autocorrelation.(4)The improvement of environmental regulation level,economic development level,degree of opening to the outside world and industrial scale in adjacent areas will promote the growth of green total factor productivity of local construction industry,while direct foreign investment and advanced industrial structure have negative spatial spillover effect on green total factor productivity of construction industry.Increasing direct foreign investment in adjacent areas is not conducive to the green development of local construction industry. |
